Not sure if many use the feature but DUST 514 will allow you to play and created playlist on your XMB, dust is one of the few games that support that feature. I personally have a good mix of Beastie Boys - Pauls Boutique, Ministry - Land of **** and Honey, Primus - Frizzle Fry, and Ween - The Pod that is my favorite Dust 514 mix. |

I think music about murdering people usually works well with shooting games,

I'll usually listen to some Streetlight Manifesto or Flogging Molly while playing. Lately however I've been listening to the EVE Online soundtrack while playing. Definitely goes well with the game, especially during the tense sniper battle myself and another merc had against each other. |

Nothing makes me want to kill quite like the Fray or Ben Folds. It only takes about 2 minutes worth to recharge me for an entire session of merc slaughtering.

Battlestar Galactica Season 3 OST - Mandela In The Clouds - those drums at 00:15, set a good pace for Assault role and Ambush matches.
Battlestar Galactica Season 1 OST - Battle On The Asteroid - VERY good for Skirmish battles. Especially, when matches start to build up about 01:50 in.
Battlestar Galactica Season 1 OST - The Olympic Carrier - Also very good for skirmishes.
The Matrix Reloaded Sountrack - Burly Brawl - Very fun to kill newberries in an Ambush with. (at the 03:00 mark, this song also makes people run twice as fast when they go jogging for some reason. lol you will also become crazy accurate with your TAR after the 04:00 mark, and at the 05:06 mark you will acquire god-like hand-eye coordination and be unstoppable in Dust for a full 24 seconds... ah the wonders of music.... lol)
Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Main Menu Theme - good for a quiet sniper role.
Dragonball Z Soundtrack - The Dragon Theme - You'll recognize it at 00:16 (also makes great workout music at the gym!)

You must not have heard the cover by Saitama Saishuu Heiki I think his cover of Decisive Battle from FF VI as pretty epic too. Just be careful when listening to these tracks. They've been known to cause a strange white substance to drip from the listener's ears. It's pretty natural, but can be messy. |
