Because either you'd have to sit on millions and millions of SP for a year for them to release, Or if you want to tank (or play dust at all in the interum) you'd eventually have millions of Wasted SP spent into some other temporary tank.
The reason this deserves a respec is because CCP should have had all these elements in game by release.
It gives players who already wanted say, a Calderi tank, an unfair advantage over those who never just wanted something to do at all for a year. |

Same goes with the scout suits and the heavys, and the rest of the dropships an LAVs also.

Yea you can get a respec now but for someone like me i want one specifically for new heavy suits but i dont want to not spend sp for months till they decide they give a damn about heavies and decide to give us them.. What was so hard about that in the first place? Every other class got race variants |

well this is the last respec they are giving us... so umm i would try to be patient about it >_> they haven't given us Caldari and Amar scout!? so what?
they game shouldn't have gone out of beta it is still buggy, still unfinished, still tricky to understand. the game has such a huge learning curve people run militia fits forever |
