So your fix was to remove the information all together? Now there is no Light/Heavy/Sidearm weapon bonus information at all, when you look at the Fitting Room Suit Stats.

lol...well yeah, I'll give them that much but when they said
Fixed a UI issue where Module Stacking Penalty does not show up properly
I didn't read
Removed UI information for Weapon Module Bonuses
Although, I suppose that by removing the information altogether, that's a fix in itself....albeit a smartass response....lol |

Hi,
The reason to remove the stats from the dropsuit page is that depending on the modules you equipped, you might have different bonuses for different weapons within the same category(Light/Heavy/Sidearm).
Thus it is not proper to show a "general" bonus number for each category becasue it would be incorrect and misleading. |

That's fine, but that's not what the 1.1 patch notes state, so it's misleading.
The patch notes indicate that the issue was resolved and we'd see correct values, not that the information had been removed entirely. |

Perhaps, if the bonuses were applied directly to weapon the weapon damage stat. IE: If I look at my weapon in fittings, then the weapon stats are updated based off of my current fitting, whether it be CPU/PG/Weapon Mods. So the information is directly applied to my current weapon as opposed to the old system where you had to figure out what the bonuses were. It should also include skills trained. The system already exists for suits, why not just apply it to weapons as well? When I train a CPU/PG reduction skill that information is immediately reflected on my dropsuit, so that same information plus mod information should be available for weapons as well.
Yes, for the record, if you choose to "see information" on an item fitted to a dropsuit, you should see the correct stats based on the suit, skills etc.
If you choose to "see info" on an item in your assets or the marketplace, you should see the baseline stats.

confirmed, was making a similar post about this. Weapon damage data has been completely removed, although patch notes say "fixed". |

I was kinda hoping MORE information would be added to the stats screen. As-is, we have no idea what recharge times modified by Shield Regulators are (not displayed) same story with Profile Dampeners. We don't have access to either the math with stacking penalties or the final numbers - it makes all those modules basically mysteries. |

This is the stupidest fix I've ever seen.
It's like a doctor telling you,
"Miss? We successfully got rid of your baby's influenza!"
"That's great new doctor!"
"Yeah, we just chucked him in the incinerator - influenza won't survive that."
"...*sob*"
"God, we sure are great doctors.... where's that kid with that nervous twitch? I have a Magnum I think we can fix it with..." |

Removing something isn't a fix. Less information is worse. We already have stats hidden all over the place. |

Surely it wouldn't be too difficult to show a specific bonus number depending on skills, weapon equipped, modules equipped etc? Presumably the number is being calculated at some stage anyway... |

Hmm, aside from Nova Knives as a sidearm, what modules would impact weapons of the same type differently? The only damage mods we have are the melee and heavy/light/side damage mods, right? There's the suit mod that impacts nova/melee on minny scouts (and nova would show up as sidearm normally). Other than that? |

besides this it also should show the range of the weapons if only in the description of these.
