Dear CCP during PC the needs to be the abillity for squad commanders to comm between themselves and there individual squads at the same time without the need to switch between team and squad. |

It's called a mute function. All players just need to mute the people they don't need to hear or talk to. |

nope, not if your running as a corp you need to communicate with all you squad leads. and they can tell there squads what to do or where to go without getting squad mate confused and keep squads together. so you can call in reinforcement to objectives so they can set up an ambush. but not to the whole team. MAG had that type of comms and it worked perfectly. |

We will mute all and then unmute your own squad. Squad leaders keep their own squad and the other squad leaders unmuted. So, the squad leaders may have to relay information from their squad to another squad leader, but it keeps things from getting overwhelming.
I'm a dropship pilot, so rather than work in a single squad, I only listen to the squad leaders when they call for cover fire, pickups, AV, or to kill an installation. Our HAV drivers tend to work the same. |

Maybe something like that when you have voice activated in squad and you are squad leader, your push to talk button sends voice for all squad leaders. That way squad leaders can communicate with each others.
And for people who use push to talk and wants to be squad leader. Pressing push to talk sends voice in squad and when you tap once and then hold on second tap voice is sent for squad leaders.
And this brings new problem to solve... it needs to be additional as every corp may not like to use it.
-> add option for squad leader in "squad popup list" to activate "advanced voice communication". When this is selected by squad leader his/her squad can't anymore hear team chat but only their own squad (also their voice is sent only for their own squad) and squad leader's push to talk voice is sent to other squad leaders.
