I've had the game installed since first day of closed beta, with every update since.
I'm not noticing any particular performance loss, but the graphics are really low res and bland.
Wondering if some old beta textures are overriding the Uprising ones. It only seem to affect territory and structures (or world, if you will), not dropsuits and weapons.
Its difficult to compare my game with videos, because they're processed and scaled down, making it look like its running on 8x antialiasing.
My TV is a 40"Samsung with 1080p, and other PS games can look fantastic (Skyrim, Uncharted etc.)
My issue with reinstalling is that at Uprising. It took 3-4 hours to download and patch. Granted it was release.
Tere is also the questn if storage space the game takes. Unsure if it keeps the old beta stuff. |

I believe textures are streamed into the system, so when you initially see the textures, you will see the low-res crappy looking ones before seeing the high def ones.
Also, DUST is still only running at 720p. While they did increase screen resolution, I do not believe they have increased it to 1080i or 1080p.
My TV and PS3 are set to automatic and can handle 1080 but auto selection is showing 720p. Just a side note. |

That's what I figured, but wasn't too sure. As for the resolution, I was just stating my TV capabilities.
My installationnis taking up 5209MB. This seem normal, no? |
