Does the Gallente scout bonus fo 10% range apply to the dragonfly scout suit? The suit doesn't say G1 at the end of the name. Also just to make sure, does the dren and valor scout suits get the bonus as well? I'm having a darn hard time trying to figure out if the bonus is doing anything. I have the skill at 5, but I really don't notice much difference. I guess 15m isn't all that much though. |

I would like to know this as well. I take it they gain nothing from the Gallente Light Frame skills though? |

I wouldn't think those suits would receive the specialization skill bonuses. My reasoning is that since they don't require those skills in order to use. But hey, I could be wrong. It's a tough question since the dropsuit descriptions aren't super informative. |

I must be confused as to what we are detecting with the skill. Even with the suits that require Gallente scout, a heavy can still come up behind me while hacking and they never show up on my radar. It seems like every suit can see droplinks and nanohives from a pretty far distance, so just what is this skill increasing the range of detection for?
The valor suit requires the gallente scout skill, so I'll just assume that this suit will get the bonus and change all my fits to it. Although, i'm really confused as to what we are detecting. |

Racial scout bonuses only apply to that particular racial scout suit. So the Gallente scout bonus doesn't apply to Dfly or the Basic light suit, only to the Scout suit. |

I received a definitive answer on this from a support ticket.

As the Dragonfly suit does not have any prerequisite, it will not get any racial bonus however the 'Valor' drop suit will.

That's a pretty bad answer on CCP's part.
There are lots of suits that have no skill requirement, yet fall into the role, such as Neo suits, Raven, etc. So how can we know for sure about other suits?

Raven requires Caldari Assault 1. Since I went Caldari, it means my Sever is absolutely worthless to me. |
