You know what, guys, I was reading this thread not expecting anything else than your typical trash talking troll thread. After reading this whole thing though, I feel absolutely disgusted, man! Because let me tell you, this whole thread represents one of the most ugliest things involved in online video gaming today, man, and I wish we could change that. What I'm talking about here is the lack of respect for your fellow gamers and how people conduct themselves after winning or losing.
I mean anyone who's ever done anything competitive outside of video game world, let's say wrestling or any martial art as an example or just playing hockey with the guys on the open ice, man, knows that there's a lot of trash talk involved before and during the game, no big deal. When it's all said and done though, and this happens almost all of the time at least where I'm from, the guys have mutual respect for each other and they accept winning or losing like men. Now the only place I see the winners talk serious crap about the losers is the video game world, and I don't think I'm the only one who thinks that it's ****** up! That's just something you do not do!
I mean yeah, guys, it's a video game forum and everyone's acting like the worst version of themselves, no big deal I get it. There's nothing wrong with talking a little trash to your opponents, but guys, we're all people here, most of us adults, and if you do beat someone, please don't come out to the forums to talk some more ****, instead say "GG" and be done with it. Peace out!

Seriously dude pull your skirt up. It is a game. And you must not have been here long enough to know the back stories. And as your cronos would say this is part of the meta game . So HTFU First of all, I'm not wearing a skirt. I'm writing this thing down wearing boxer shorts while sitting on my leather computer chair sipping on an ice cold orange juice, while bathing in the sun! Secondly even if I was wearing a skirt, why would you want me to pull it up?
I mean, yeah if you ever followed UFC for example trash talking is a HUGE part of the game, just like in Dust 514, no question about it, but at the same time, bro, when it's all said and done the competitors put it all aside 99% of the time. As I said, we're all people here and you don't need to wear a skirt to understand that, man! |

Now that being said, do you want to have a discussion with me or are you just running your mouth? |

Didn't you just get done saying we're the ones crying? Betamax deserves to be awox'ed repeatedly while literally everyone on the forums who isn't tagged Cronos points and laughs. It will be hilarious and just deserts. So, where's that vid? No, I didn't get done saying you guys are crying. I was having a discussions on the reasons why CRONOS is hated if that's what you're referring to, no big deal. On top of that I've got nothing against trash talk or what you might call "crying", I've got nothing against you trying to "awox" BetaMax and laugh about it either. Go ahead, knock yourself out, bro.
What I've got a problem with is the fact that the video game community often times fails to grasp is that when it's all said and done, man, it's time to drop the trash talk, time to stop the crying, it's time to go on and say "GG, I'll see you later, buddy!" |

Cass Barr wrote:Well, I don't really believe in kicking the opponent while they're down either. But if some of these guys were bragging or talking big or talking down to other corps beforehand then they deserve needling, IMO. But poor form and funny can so often overlap. Not like there's any literal kicking occurring. I haven't been around the forums long enough to know if any of the corps in the CEO spotlight are deserving of a bit of ribbing, though.
As for Betamax, they're not really down anyway. Not yet. Exactly right, man, and I don't exactly know what kind of trash was being talked around this forums, bro, but kicking a dude while he's down is a pretty ****** move, unless he went way overboard with his **** talk. Which by the way is known to happen in these forums a couple of times. All I'm saying is that it's a video game, and yeah some of us are very competitive guys, and if you wanna walk **** go ahead, but let's remember that we're all playing the same game here guys, so there's no need to get all personal or kick a dude when he's down because at the end of the day, our opponents are the people who make the game more enjoyable to us all. |
