The level of competition, the stress, the drama, I love it! The metagame of Dust has gotten so interesting, the corp politics. I now hate pub stomping because it's nothing like PC.
But the bugs! Constant framerate drops, people getting stuck in the loading screen, etc, they make enjoying PC so hard when you're actually fighting. Winning in PC has more to do with luck, how many of your guys gets lagged out, how many have framerate issues, than actual skill or planning.
I'm still shaking from my last PC fight 20 minutes ago, and that is good. Much of that is from the stress of trying to shoot people at 20fps, and that is bad. |

I love PC matches.
They're so different to pubstomps, you're actually fighting over something (slightly) important, and of course you get that fat sack of loot at the end that can contain AUR items.

PC is terrible, could hardly be worse. It's an ISK sink for every corp, the matches are unplayable, the mechanics of setting timers and reinforcements are awful. Waste of time. |

Have yet to have one where more than half our players could actually play. The lag and frame rate issues are embarrassingly terrible for a game that is supposedly out of beta. The mechanics themselves mean that even if you win every battle you fight, you won't actually make money anyway. You have to own the district for 8-10 days just to break even, and that is assuming your corp isnt expending a single cent on defense. So, what exactly is the point? |
