Hopefully in this thread: Usefull short tips for young and old alike.
Helpfull things you always wanted to say to or shout at your teammates? Feel free to contribute.
You can get way more WP (and thus exp) and help your team, if you use your equipment regularly. It is not just about getting kills.
Uplinks for example. 25 WP for every teammate that uses one of yours. There is a kind of uplink that allows to place two at a time, which does not cost much SP to get. Try to place them with a fast suit, then change to one for fighting, since they need a lot of CPU/PG.
Another example: The compact nanohive needs even less SP to get, very little CPU/PG to carry around, and can not only replenish ammo, but also repair armor. Very helpfull for you and your team.
Destroying enemy uplinks and nanohives might not give WP, but can save your live and sometimes even decide the match.
You can call in your own free LAV (jeep) at almost any time. At least the militia version you have from the start does not cost you anything.
It is possible, helpfull and very cheap to put an activ scanner into your free militia LAV. Around 4-5k a car then, i think.
It is even possible to integrate a mobile spawnpoint into (at least the gallente version of) the militia LAV, if you replace the repairmodule with one that gives more PG. There are militia versions of those. No SP needed. The car then costs around 17-18k. Worth it, if you want company while driving behind enemy lines.
You can recall your vehicle when you are done with it.
Joining a squad raises the chance of friendly orbital strikes. A total of 2500 WP are needed for a squad, to allow the leader to fire one down, if i'm not mistaken. So feel free to join any random open squad there is. Usually it's more about WP than good manners. Most are happy for everything you can contribute.
You can not snipe out of the MCC! You just hit that shield in the opening without any further effect. (Unless that was changed recently.) |

Your profile signature is static. Crouching, running, or even shooting your weapon has no effect on whether or not you show up on enemy radar.
By looking at an enemy in your cross hairs, they are spotted and put on all friendly radars. Think Battlefield, but without needing to press "Select." |

Nanite Injectors are a piece of equipment that allows you to resuscitate a team member. Not only does this help your team save on clones, it also gets you 60 WP each time you successfully use it.
If you have deployable equipment use it. there's no sense in dying with it undeployed. You pay for it either way.
Stay with your team members. You are much more likely to survive in a group.
If you are damaged, you can go to a Supply Depot and change out your suit. Picking a different Frame will give you a brand new suit at no cost. You can always switch back to your original type to get a brand new version of that suit. |
