It's pretty cool now. I've been useing it to ninja hack the out lying objectives, and planting explosives on the out lying and main control point objectives. It's pretty fun acctualy. Just got through with a match that went down to the absolute wire (they had half a bar of armor left and we had a full bar) so it made me feel like I really made a difference. I had 9 remote explosives kills and three hacks. It's a lot of hard work though to maintain those objectives. A lot of back and forth planting RE.
With that said, the scout could do with a buff to the following:
More shield recharge rate: I would say bring it in line with the ishukone and blood raider. But, seeing as how that probably won't happen, the least you could do is bring it in line with a std LAV. Currently it takes WAY to long to get back into, and because you have to use your high slots to actually make the vehicle survivable, you don't have room to fit a shield recharger on it.
Higher top end speed: get rid of the +2% to turret rotation speed and replace it with 2 or three perscent bonus to vehicle top end speed. I mean you cannot sustain yourself in a fire fight with that vehicle anyway, so what the hell good is the turret buff.
anyway, that about covers it. |

Yah but it accelerates quite a bit faster. They just need to buff the top end a bit. |

LLAV is better than SLAV.
It depends on what you are using it for. However, with the loss of a high slot and a low slot, and drastic decrease to total eHP, LLAV is definitely far less survivable in a combat situation. |

The LLAV is as fast, has more PG/CPU and has the ability to be faster. It is far more survivable and is just much better overall.
It also cost a lot more to fit it to the standard you're talking about. Look I am not entirely disagreeing with you here, the LLAV could definitely use some love. I like that idea of getting rid of the turret in favor of two back seats. But definitely in needs some thing to make it stand out as a stand alone roll. |

I just tested the Caldari LLAV with two Jovians, and it is definitely not the same amount of acceleration as my SLAV with one Jovian (noticeable difference). The SLAV must have a higher base acceleration, but since there is no statistic for acceleration... We may never have hard evidence. |

Yeah, but how much acceleration? .5 s difference to max speed is meaningless.
As I said there is no statistic... So how the hell would I know? Give it a try. It is very noticeable, especially when you are going over rough terain. Also I only have SLAV skilled to level 1 which means that there is still an entire eight percent buff to acceleration left to go. |
