I've just played three instant battles in a row where half the team has just afk'ed in the MCC. WTF? CCP, why is friendly fire not already enabled for all game types? It doesn't make sense. If you can't enable friendly fire for all match types because there are too many ***** carebears, please do something as soon as possible about these players that are ruining matches by not participating. If you are here to play the game, then play it, please. |

There have been many, many threads about these issues, it seems the main problem with FF being on in pub matches would be ridiculous levels of griefing teammates. Whether or not that would be the case I don't know, but why not have FF on, but only whilst in the MCC? Granted, there may be a few bloodbaths at the beginning of the game, and we'd probably all be heavies till we got to a supply depot, but it would certainly remove the temptation to AFK. Hell, it might even provide a few cheap laughs! We could have Mexican stand-offs and nova knife royal rumbles.  |

Give them 5 minutes, then notify them that they can now be damaged by teamates for desertion, then force automatic spawning in their most expensive dropsuit each time they die.

Totally agree with this post. This has happened to me at least 5 times during games that I have been playing. After reading the forum posts about people doing this I have been alerting all of my squad members that I lead if this is happening in a match. So far I have been in 5 matches where anywhere from 5 to 10 players on our team have gone AFK. If this happens we make a squad decision to either all leave the battle or just to avoid the sp farming that is happening as much as possible. |

Remove sp for time spent or make it a bolean (5 sec - 1sp If *condition). Reward deaths or isk loss (for newbz), kill, revive, etc. I like the idea of bolean factors as it can meet just about any exploit with an OR or an AND statement. Friendly fire is bad idea. Elite players or deliquints will drive away potential players/CUSTOMERS. Bad buisness.
