While the practice of purging new players is distasteful, and to all you blistering newbies I'm actually sorry, I am unrepentant for my actions.
However consider this:
Each time an alliance mass-purges new players from their ranks, I believe one alliance has burned over 300 new members, they prove themselves the hypocrites they are. they do not want to take chances on you, they don't want to get to know you.
They never had any intention of letting you be meaningful.
To all of the new players i submit to you an alternative for being the victims and castoffs of the so-called gaming elite. if the game is not fun, it is not a game.
EVE had this problem.
Open google and look up an EVE corporation called "Brave newbies inc."
follow this example, because bluntly you're better off without the "elite FPS gaming crowd" because they will abandon you at a moments' notice. Form your own regimes, your on corps and bring your own agendas, because you do not need to obey their customs of E-Honor and gungame before thought and tactic. And soon you will find the metagame openly welcomes new players who stick their necks in.
We are the old guard, and you do not need us to win. Form your own corps and alliances, do not bow to these so-called elite.
Join DUST University, for they will teach you the ways. Then go out and stomp on the ones who threw you out with no more thought than the trash collector.
You discarded new ones are the only ones I have any sympathy for, but this hypocracy must be shown. The power blocs have already shown they never had any intention of treating you as brothers. You don't owe anyone who would do that anything. |

Or realize people make mistakes, that people come from eve, and that eventually people will see the mistake they made assuming your intentions. Who you are speaks much more than what you do or say, and it will come across and open doors for you. Just don't box yourself in, or shoot yourself in the foot. Try to be humble if you're kicked, and remember than anger build nothing but destroys everything. |

Or blame CCP for releasing half-baked game modes while in a rush to get to "release" and it's accompanying influx of new players. Then stand by while their broken systems are exploited by people who don't give a rat's ass what the consequences are for anyone, while some of CCP's appointed community spokesmen cheerlead the whole thing.
Understand the shitstorm you've unwittingly and unfortunately stepped into, and ask yourselves who's actually the cause of the purge of new players from the ranks of corporations who want to be involved in that half-baked game mode. Should they really risk their progress and ability to participate on unknown players who are just as likely to be liars as they are new? Rest assured the people who are here claiming sympathy for you while they happily grief away would turn around and blame the Corps they're griefing for allowing them to do it if they kept new members around.
And of course some of the infiltrated alts are old enough members not to get kicked anyway, so really the whole thing's just a cluster**** from top to bottom. So corps do what they can to insulate themselves, and deal with the consequences if they miss someone.
But don't doubt that it's CCP and those that happily exploit a broken system that are to blame for any purges.
Welcome to Dust, enjoy your (I assume likely short) stay! |

Unfortunately Dust 514 is a game of consequences, there is a price to pay for everything you do wrong. From fail fitting your suit to fail outfitting your corporation.
The game however should be able to provide answers to prevent repeating said failures. AWOXing currently has very few tools (but there are tools) to the prevention or counter of suck.
I will also say AWOXing is by far the 'least' damaging thing any infiltrator could do. |

And so corps are doing what they can to fix what you call a "fail", and it's the new players who get screwed for it.

EDIT: FYI I edited out cluster**** from my post but it's still in the quote you used.
Your ham-handed reactions to a simple problem are a failure because you have declared your lack of interest in taking the time to actually engage the new players, and give them a reason to not sell you to the lowest bidder.
I am ham-handed in pointing things out because bluntly, the FPS community tryhards are by and large capable of missing a neon sign spelling out a solution. Or a culprit.
By the way... I win again.
Just not for anything I have said on the forums. I have discovered yet another way to spread misery. More to come. |

They might do that, some of them anyway.
Usually people join a corp/clan to learn about the game from experienced players and try to learn on the job so to speak. Up to last week every noob that posted looking for advice was told: "First thing, join a clan".
This whole debacle (if it even warrants such a grandiose term) is simply bad for Dust514. New players from week one are getting booted from their corps. Newer players testing the waters in week two are getting the cold shoulder. All due to an unfinished game mechanic.
If I'm being honest, I don't blame the players that use this exploit. Players by and large are a predictable bunch and if they can do something, just for the hell of it, they will. The onus in this case is on CCP to hotfix some form of corp management that will allow things to settle down again whilst still allowing those dedicated to the meta game to worm their way in given enough time investment. |

sorry OP but i call bull.
closed doors rarely stay so.
Corporations need to protect their members and their investments, any corporation that doesn't is creating more problems than it needs to.
I encourage new players to create their own structures, and i also encourage players who wish to join a specific Corporation to continue to move towards that goal.
With the launch of PC, DUST is seeing much drama, this is good for the game and its players, and is entertaining in and of itself.
