Alright these are all wrong, instead of better tracking and lower speed go much faster and much lower tracking. This allows people to not outrun missiles as that is a ridiculous concept anyway and simultaneously allows decent pilots and drivers to dodge the new very fast low tracking missiles.
Personally I think that allowing different swarm launchers do deploy different payloads in their missiles would be nice too, this would allow swarm missiles to be AV against both Caldari and Gallente vehicles. |

I would like for them to be drop ship lock specific, but do less damage, however, with a speed buff, while leaving tracking the same. |

I was hoping to make them avoidable which is why I requested lower tracking. this is how real missiles function they get faster and faster and at maximum speed lose much of their ability to turn.
Also they still follow dropships path needs to be changed. |

as a lav pilot the only way i found to "avoid" some of the swarms is to drive directly at them, but then they do a 180 instantly and one or 2 hit the ground. the tracking on these things are just unreal, even for the future. |

I totally agree. The tracking is amazing yet they are dreadfully slow. I suggest they flip these two aspects or maybe make two different version of SL one with high speed low tracking and one with low speed high tracking. |

isn't it bad enough it's completely useless against infantry? why would you suggest limiting it even more things.
I would only agree with it only targetting flyer if it's downgraded to a side arm.
anyway I agree with the original poster they should track worse and move faster, I'm fine with a pilot dodging them but I hate having them outrun, makes them seem so ******. |

That tracking makes it bend corners on ground vehicles. It's annoying and should be stopped.

As an HAV pilot, I actually like this idea. I can't tell you the number of times I've seen a swarm coming and rounded a corner to be hit by two full salvos rounding the same corner. + 1 |

I would like to have some dropship pilots' thoughts on this. I like to see it from all sides. I was dedicated swarm launcher before respec and I found it to be a little too easy for vehicles to just run from my swarms. Only thing I consistently hit was LAVs.
Keep in mind I am proposing a buff and nerf of swarm launchers at the same time allowing balance to play out. |
