After seeing this, http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-KC5AvLVlP_Y/T3HolAZXZAI/AAAAAAAABLc/mTYwXTBp19I/s640/mtac.jpgI am very excited that mtacs are coming for the first expansion! I consider them superheavy classes using light turrets as weapons. Here what I think how mtacs would look on each race.

These are example what I think they would look like. But im gonna spec on my mtac skills once they are released! |

Anyways the Amarr one in the OP was a dust 514 fan contest entry and is drawn as such.
Anyways dug around and here is some of my thoughts on inspiring MTAC designs if I had to design them.
Anyways my vision of a minmatar one http://cache.gawkerassets.com/assets/images/kotaku/2009/07/4_04.jpg Rust included Or this one http://im.tech2.in.com/images/2010/apr/img_214742_mech_suit.jpg Its Sharky enough. Maybe needs to look more spare partish http://digital-art-gallery.com/oid/52/640x339_9983_4walker_3d_sci_fi_robot_mech_picture_image_digital_art.jpg
Caldari MTACs would be easy. http://th01.deviantart.net/fs70/PRE/i/2011/052/5/2/mecha_design_4_by_progv-d3a2d3e.jpg or http://i190.photobucket.com/albums/z140/bdesigns_/mecha24th2.jpg or even http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_fF0J7PhtEyk/Sq_qYWV72uI/AAAAAAAABfQ/TUu1G0qgpNw/s400/Critical+Mass+15mm+AF+Walker_scale.jpg
The most difficult however for spossive size possiibilities

There is still no strategic use for mechs or "mtacs". If your reason for having mechs is "ooooooooooooh shiny", or you just want it to be an insanely overpowered and costly tank, then they shouldn't be implemented in the game. |

High mobility/agility Anti-HAV and infantry support platform. An MTAC would be able to flip your tank over and melee it to death. |

Then make it a vehicle and not a mech. Making it into a mech is just pointless, will make the controls most likely more annoying, and make it a giant glittery target for the other team.
It still doesn't make sense. |

Besides the fact that infantry are already stupidly unwieldy over uneven terrain in this game, assuming controlling your character will eventually be fixed, it will still be incredibly unwieldy having larger surfaces of contact over uneven terrain. I can see the MTAC bouncing up and down over and over again wildly like a jack in the box over small hills now... |

Well from what I understand from all the notes and sorts from Fanfests their place is mostly killing tanks but tanks will be used to be something to kill other things with such as structures and vehicles at range. They are however the MTACs maintains some of the highest agility and mobility.
It would not surprise me if an MTAC had infantry controls. |

Better question: Can I take them out with a small aircraft by binding their legs with a tow cable? |
