So I've been trying to make a futile but concerted effort lately to get the attention of NPC corp solo players during pub matches to either join a squad, turn on mics, switch to squad chat, and sometimes recruit if performance warrants.
One of the most prohibative problems is that you only have about 1 min 30 seconds max to get their attention while they might be looking at the chat windows or see their notifications flash. Do you guys think that lobby time is the right amount, and what tools would you like to see to get the attention of blue dot's easier.
I'm wondering if we could possibly get some lobby visual emotes, or maybe even a type of public 'squad order' where you could ping a non-squaded player in the lobby while looking at them. Something as easy as squad tags with letters or call-signs that would help distinguish people as having a relative organization (or recognize the need for it) could be nice. |

I would like the option of displaying my chat and mail on the bottom of screen in game. That way I can be notified of any new mail or chats.
Even the option to customize in the sense of which chats to be displayed on the bottom or only mail, etc.
Another option is a pop-up notification in game for invites. |

IF they even look at the lobby chat channels. I rarely look at them while waiting for battle honestly.
To be honest I think the timing is fine, if anything if it did increase it would probably be 30 seconds, if they're generous.
If anything this should be in the feedback/requests section.

I only join squads that has at least one girl in them. But no worries, I know my job and do it well. Haunt objective. And lay down spawners.
Or If I'm on Paid Merc work.

There needs to be a hangout room for people to go to and interact. The Merc Quarters are nice, as are the pre-match lobby rooms, but like you said, there just isn't enough interaction between players. A simple room for people to enter and talk in could help change this, and let players actually see other players that they aren't trying to kill. |
