as all of you are aware the ps4 is closing in like a freight train so now like the ps1 and ps2, the ps3 now has a very VERY short life span of at least 3-4 years ccp has invested so much time and money into dust and intertwining it with eve so if they dont bring dust 514 to the ps4 i think both dust 514 and eve will probably die [OH-NO]. so my question is "is dust 514 going to be on the ps4" if not WHY?!?!?! |

so they're working on a PS4 version, but it's not anywhere near a presentable state yet - so they aren't going to say one way or the other until it's ready to show...? |

Well if they are here's a tip. The Unreal Engine blows monkey chunks. Look into an engine that won't give you so many problems. |

damn right idk why they chose a game engine that is sooo bad though the unreal 4 look pretty good but good looks are nothing if it does not operate great! |

I am stating I don't know what they're working on, but I will state this.
CCP is not committed to let dust die on the PS3 platform, CCP is not that stupid and knows that the lifespan of the game will and should outlive the remainder of the PS3. Where they will go next is up to CCP and when the time comes CCP will announce it themselves. |

In the near term, no, because CCP said so.

Once the life is truly burned out of the PS3, who knows what they will do. Dust could simply end, if there aren't enough players or enough revenue to keep it going. It could make the move from PS3 to PS4, Xbox One, or PC. I don't think CCP is actually focused on this issue yet. Their focus is solely on advancing the gameplay design and taking care of bugs right now. Additionally, I don't think you can expect CCP to switch consoles without switching engines either and that might take a lot of time. I can't see CCP moving a 3rd gen engine to a 4th gen console like PS4 without first re-making Dust in Unreal 4. However, I could be wrong. |
