Hi All,
Thought I would share a recent encounter that had me howling with laughter for a good 10 mins. I guess you had to be there to see the funny side, but I hope I can paint the picture for you.
It's the "new" manus peak map and the right side (objective B) spawned the tall building with the stupidly long ladder climb.
I was on the left side and after doing my scout thing and capturing a couple of points I re-fitted to sniper. I notice that an enemy group was camping the top of said building and after a few headshots I whittled down the group to one guy in a proto logi suit.
I'm no "leet" sniper yet, so took a while for me to reduce his shields and armour. He was bobbing and weaving and it took a couple of clips to finally kill him. What happened next was the LOL factor for me.
The final shot hit, chest I think, and with all props to CCP for the physics in the game, the guy slumped forward and in slow motion his body slipped over the edge of the building. His fall was spectacular, even doing a full 360 on the way down.
Now, I know there were some of our guys at the base of the building and while I didn't see the body hit the ground I had a mental image of the guy landing in the middle of the friendly squad and them thinking "wtf, where did he come from??"
Still makes me chuckle to write it :)

Lol, I love these moments. :D
One of my funniest DUST encounters (Aside from the stupidity of others, when they shoot my REs while right on top of them...) was when I was in my Minmatar 'Shotgun Scout' fitting. A saw a LAV that was just chilling, and it was being used as a Blaster Turret for the other team.
I went up, killed the guy in the turret, and then his buddy came out. This started the most hilarious fight of my life. So, I'm just running around, dodging the guys bullets and grenades. And then I back off a bit while he's moving to the side (We were moving around in a circle, for some reason. Mostly me trying to dodge.), and he exploded himself on his own grenade. xD
It was kind of hilarious, because:
1) I could just imagine him saying, "Oh, I got you now, b****! You're mine! Hahaha- What the hell?"
2) His body glitched and flew OVER the mountains (I was in the same map as you, but at Objective A).
Like yours, its one of those things you just had to see. xD |

I was sniping on the MCC to change the run&gun. I went a bit too much on the side so I felt. While falling, the enemy MCC shot me and died. Don't know if I avoided our MCC to get a shot? I'm so much dedicated to my team! |

Skirmish match starts, so I start my long hike around the edges of the map toward the enemy's MCC. I primarily snipe, and prefer sniping people from the direction of their spawn as opposed to my own spawn (for reasons), and their MCC was nicely located near a nice sniping hill. I spotted an enemy sniper just up the ridge from me, and as I'm setting up to blap him he suddenly moves into the nearby road. As he's standing still in the road, I kill him. The tank he has just been calling in makes its decent, so I sieze the opportunity to steal it.
Using my newly acquired, risk-free, free tank, I proceed to start to blow up all the red installations I can spot from my mountain (as I am the mountain king afterall). I glance toward the hostil MCC to see the same sniper calling in another tank. Inspiration struck, and I shot the carryall holding his tank just as it was positioned above him. He goes squish, and I blow up his unmanned tank for good measure.
I return to my mission of killing red structures, and reach a point where I must quickly run through the red zone and out again in a sort of U shaped road, in order to bring more targets into my LOS. As I'm driving through the red zone, I spot the same player yet again, positioned in a tank, facing the main battle. I realize that I'm not going to be able to make it out of the red before the timer expires at this point. Instead I drive my faithful free tank directly at the other tank, getting it into low armor as I go. I rammed his tank as the counter hit 1 second, finishing him off, folowed by my own explosion soon after.

One of mines was:
I was in middle on the fight, from one corridor were coming a lot of enemies a few time, one of the last ones take cover behind a column so I take a grenade, and I throw it, but I did it bad xD the grenade before explode hits the roof and returned to my position,.. just 1 sec before, the guy who was in cover looks like he saw the grenade and then come vs me, the LOL was when I was sure I would be killed by my own grenade, but instead of that explodes on the face on the enemy who was just infront of me... I survived with less of 20% armor 
(he also does an epic animation, dont know why or how.. but he goes really up, I was looking for the body on the floor and then I noticed the body falling fron the sky a few meters away...
I love it because "thats how to hit failing"

Last night I was running skirmish on the map with 4 NULL cannons. I spawned at "C" CRU, and was running toward C when I noticed a red dot starting to climb the ladder above C. In my logi suit with MD, I take aim and fire - too low. He is now mid-way up and I adjust my aim, hit him just below his feet. He continues to climb.
I adjust my aim once more and fire just as he gets to the top. BOOM. A direct hit and kill for me - his corpse falls to the ground.

Playing skirmish, match is running long with lots of trading back and forth of the null cannons. I'm hanging out in railgun turret taking pot-shots at LAVs racing across the battlefield. On the far side of the battlefield a ship start coming in with a tank. I start taking shots at the tank before it deploys and just before it drops I blow it.
I'm watching, in zoom, as the raspberry, pausing, looks up at his now destroyed tank dropping. He then turns toward my direction, pauses a moment and starts sprinting across the battlefield toward me. He weaves and bobs his way across the field, me firing shots at him the entire way, straight up to me and cooks a nade until we both die.
I have never felt so hated, so intensely by someone as I did by him. |

Running into a group of five enemies with nothing but my Minmatar scout suit and some ZN-28 nova knives, killing them all, and walking away with possibly the most self satisfaction I've ever felt. |

some funny stuff reading these. good thread.
mine: I'm running my scout suit set up for hacking, working on letter A (from the A_B_C_D map). I see two reds coming, but I'm to close to run. I get the hack, turn to run just as hear that scary sound of a hmg (before this last update).
I look to the ground, drop a grenade and do a 180 only to run face to face into the 2nd red, so close that literally all I see on my entire tv is his eyes looking at me. I think he was set up assault. I run out of the cage set-up, and without thinking (confusion, lol) run back into it firing my smg.
I wind up back at the control panel, the grenade goes off and for a moment I thought I died, standing up, by my own grenade. I realize both reds are done, and somehow I'm still standing to see I got 100 point for the hack... yes!
I have seen the random body flying 100ft in the air, wtf, too funny. I have also been mass-drivered hacking C ( A_B_C map) and was blown up to the tower on the hill behind it, thanks to whoever did that, btw. |

So Skirmish with the Corp; We've got a decent lead and their MCC is almost down. We have them redlined. A heroic cherry decides to drop a tank and bum rush us as the rest of his team decides to do the same thing on foot. Our front line survives the charge and is holding off the sea of redberries bearing down on us. The tank alone has made it behind our lines and is laying waste to everything he can. The no one bothers swapping out to an AV suit. I'm busy holding the front line as their assault dies down. In the final seconds of the game, I turn around to see a squaddie standing on top of the enemy tank. Just kinda... chillin'. "What the hell are you doing?!" I manage to say before laughter overtakes me. The rest of the squad turns to see him and burst out laughing just as the game ends. Highlight of my day. |

Nothing good this build yet, however I have some things from the past-
Using a dropship to crush a sniper on that same building- it took me 3 or 4 tries, but the sniper didn't move an inch
Every kill that I've gotten with remote explosives (lol, heavies doing cartwheels)
This one time when I threw a grenade at the same time that someone fired a mass driver round at me. They collided in the air and exploded in front of my face. |

I'm in a dropship, taking potshots at people with the railgun. I have not skilled into it, so only direct hits kill people. I see this one guy in front of us and I take a shot. I get a direct hit on the guy, one-shotting him. Later that same match, we were full on banking, with the afterburner going. We were dodging a tank, when, all of a sudden, I get sniped out of the seat. Headshot, while banking, at that speed? I look, and it's the same guy I one-shotted. I send a message after, "Good shot." He sent one back: "Thanks, you too."
Another one: I was flying around in MY dropship, my friend doing the same thing I was. There was a yellow railgun turret below me, I'm orbiting it so my gunner can shoot it. I notice a guy on it, but my gunner doesn't. He takes his shot, misses the turret, but one-shots the guy hacking it. Priceless.
Last one: I see a guy on a hill. He takes a shot at me with a swarm launcher. I was using a shielded dropship. I get just out of range and the missiles explode, but after my gunners, thinking I was about to crash, bail. I stay in the air, for 20 minutes (the rest of the match) with this guy constantly shooting at my ship. At the end, you can see my dropship, with missiles about 5 meters away, me banking hard to the left and almost out of range of the missiles. That guy told me that was the gutsiest flying he ever saw. |
