Signatures are obnoxious and contribute nothing positive to discussion. They're a form of dickwaving and encourage special snowflake syndrome.
I hide them by default on every forum I use. |

Yeah, this. I can do without a bunch of images of nonsensical anime girls bent over, or poorly rendered images of a soldier with someone's name in some testosterone fueled theme of explosions or bright red colors.
I'm also more than fine with not having a bunch of "JOIN X CORP BECAUSE WE [Insert advertisement about loyalty and friendship that's not true in practice] text sigs that only really distact from the post's content.
You guys don't need corp. sigs. Your corp and alliance is all ready displayed under your avatar. Sigs just add more unneeded noise to posts.
We don't need sigs or the showboating that comes with them. |

Dust would be a much better game if CCP did in fact not give a [inset profanity because I have a poor vocabulary] about FPS players. |
