Well, the majority of people are highly opinionated and passionate about a subject despite being able to grasp the complexities of the subject or offer any solutions themselves.

*ahem* every political movement *ahem*

When someone is passionate and clueless, or just plain ignorant of the complexities they will replace useful information with the following: QQ, HTFU, Adapt or Die, etc.

I don't even see them as trolls, because that implies some sort of malicious and mischievous intent. Instead I see them as the brainless frontline grunts who want to talk gameplay mechanics, balance, and tactics like the big boys, but unfortunately lack the mental capacity to do so. That's why instead of producing a block of organized text, they bark out idiotic catch phrase like a pack of wild dogs. And truth be told, they are dogs. They're pack of dogs that us leadership types send out into battle so we can gauge the effectiveness of our tactics.
