KB/M users have an unfair advantage when it coms to AWOXing.
Dust may not have the best AIM assist compared to games like HALO and COD, but it is still evident. Aim assist is used to level the playing field between DS3 and KB/M users.
When trying to team kill, aim assist does not activate, it is harder to shoot a team mate than an enemy. For proof, go play Halo, and try to shoot a team mate compared to an enemy, its 10X harder. Obviously the strength of aim asisst is less in DUST, so its not as big of a difference.
But still, it matters. AWOXers using a KB/M have a distinct advantage over AOWXers using DS3 because the balancing mechanic of aim assist no longer levels the playing field. Fact.
What's that, did I just combine the QQ topics of AWOXing and kb/m advantage? Deal with it. |

Aim assist is completely broken in Dust and does not work, if you are using it turn it off immediately.

I can hit enemies better with a charge rifle on DS3 than I can KB/M. Easier to lead targets at long range. At short range with my Tac rifle(Sniper) i choose KB/M because of quick target acquisition.
Never used Aim Assist in any video game when I have a choice to turn it off, even when I sucked at CoD3 when I was 10 years old. |
