On behalf of the Aurum Grinder and Company, and our coalition, we thank you for the last week of exciting engagements. Though your members fought hard, we fought with heart. This is one of the few moments in the history of engagements were the latter was to persist the former. We did enjoy your time in Egbinger. Though due to the aspirations of unaffiliated participants, your time in my home system has come to an end. We wish you the best in your future engagements.
Egbinger VII, District 2 Battle Report
5-16, Darkstar Army 5-18, the Aurum Grinder and Company + coalition 5-19, Darkstar Army 5-20, the Aurum Grinder and Company + coalition
note: the final engagement we only had 78 clones to their 150. the victory was sweeter than you could possibly imagine.

I was actually being sincere... Now for the way that you have reacted here, I can honestly say that I am sorry you lost at least 320 million attacking a 10 man corporation... when all they wanted to do was help. for clarification, the previous statment was a troll.

you don't think I felt the same way? All week long I was hoping you would wait to attack so I could reset the timer to "normal" hour
CEOPyrex CloneA wrote:Lets talk about this group of players - they convo'd me perhaps 15 mins before the first match and proceeded to pretty much beg me not to take their regions - "Ziontcd is the real threat" they told me, "lets team up against them" he said.....
30 minutes prior to the battle, a person from Ivory Vanguard, a member of our coalition said he was torn between us two because his corp was friends with both sides. THIS was the reason for calling for a truce. I did not point at Zion because I think ill of them, but because who wants to fight a war on two fronts?
CEOPyrex CloneA wrote:This gentleman leader of said coalition, then proceeded to explain that he was THE LEADER OF A MIGHTY INTERNETSPACE COLLECTIVE who , if we fit the bill could join, that made me smile and what was even more tragic was his inability to identify i was trolling him out of the room with "sure lets do that, sounds fun mate, ell oooh ell"
I am a leader of my corporation. I am a founder of our coalition. I have been playing EvE since 2003, so yes, I have some very experienced contacts in EvE, VERY close to Egbinger. Our coalition is of both Alliances and corporations. we are mutualist in our policy with one another. We do not politic, or coarse one another. I apologize for believing this may have been of some interest to you.
CEOPyrex CloneA wrote:This group have shown a staggering level of buttehurtz due to what is a game designed to invite rounds where we shoot guns at each other and pretty much called in anyone they could to defend what was at best a meager collection of players who got stomped twice in a row.
In your video, you said I wanted you to throw the fight. Defamation. My words were, "The best way to retain our clone numbers, is to fight for them as planned." Keep in mind that this discussion occurred because we had a mutual ally.
CEOPyrex CloneA wrote:So i urge the entire Dust Community to troll this living **** out of this coalition and attack all their districts as the drama you will receive is well worth the isk outlay plus they are pretty terrible without top 5 corp support :D
I have at no time ever contacted or made a comment about you outside of the one conversation we had prior to our first fight. |

Now i quite like Zion, if only because their leader is the chillest of bros and once again i was astonished at the spinelessness of these eve players who play dust now for what can only be to get some isk advantage and avoid a fight and plant flags.
Interesting, so who's in this coalition?
i think the war reporter referred to us as the "un-welcomed". Please see my previous post. I said "Zion is the real threat", because your group's name was the only one I recognized on the planet. Clearly an indication of a possible threat... |

Aurum Grinders really don't have a chance against Darkstar Army, Rise of Legion, Unclaimed in Erbinger let alone any other allience.
What is this coalition. three alliances of 10 dozen men men corps, or will you sit in the corner and hire other corps out to do your work.
I will personally give 20 million Isk to any corp that goes into a match for the Aurum Grinders and makes them lose by any means. 1 million to any lone wolf spy who does the same.
if i forfeit the next match, please make payment to Dias Bailey. that's D I A S Bailey.. with a B. It may be the only time we actually get paid for PC.
Our coalition is fully of small corps who were brought together by the random friendships we've made along the way. Nobody is paid. There is no coercion. The militia is manned by individuals who have decided to volunteer more than their friendship.
I honestly don't understand what you guys are so bent out of shape about. I call for a truce for the sake of a mutual ally. your ceo says "sure, let's talk after the fight", and then goes against his word. Did I cry about it? If you don't believe me, contact the the CEO of Ivory Vanguard. I purposefully had him stay in the channel just incase this kind of defamation ensued.
Stop creating drama where there is none. If anyone has a reason to be so put out, its me. However, I understand why you chose to continue attacking us. We were a shoe in for defeat by your standards. You clearly didn't need more blue standings. I may have done the same if not for my honest nature.
It is OK to fail. I'm sure I've done it twice as much. If we survive ROFL's Egbinger stomp, come at us again. I am positive a victory over us will taste twice as sweet. But as your CEO suggested, let me change my reinforcement timer to a mutually beneficial time.
This is what I get for sincerely saying, "good game" in this community. Honestly? I know it is strange to not see a whiney thread, or a hateful thread. Just relax folks. |

good post nano. i think we agree more than you think though. you are a good man.
I want to be clear here. I wasn't trying to gloat. I was being proud of persevering. take a moment to look at it from my perspective. anyone in their right mind would have bet against us. Its the classic underdog tale. THATS why our last victory was so sweet to taste. Not because I have some primal emotion wrapped up in the US vs. THEM mentality.
I really did enjoy our engagement on egbinger. if only every large alliance wasn't moving into the area, we could have continued our little rivalry. I would have enjoyed that.
we need more regions open so the larger alliances have to focus on borders, and not rolling over us to get to each other.
when that happens, I would be more than happy to either share or fight for our common ground.
