I would like to see a sidearm shotgun, specifically a shotgun pistol. It would add more variety in the game being able to carry a long range weapon + effective short ranged weapon sidearm. I understand that balance would be an issue, however it shouldn't be a weapon that OHKs but made to finish players off. My thoughts are:
-half the clip of a basic shotgun
-half the amount of pellets fired
-same damage per pellet of the basic shotgun
What do you guys think? |

Well aside from the fact that I do not believe the plasma shotgun we got now uses pellets, I agree this is a good idea. I mean we got a mini AR sidearm with the SMG, a mini Mass Driver sidearm with the Flaylock, so why not a mini shotgun? Plus this would give more advantage in going assault as opposed to logi who don't get a sidearm (aside from Amarr). |

lets have it be like a sawn-off ( one shot to reload but 2 rounds and a but load of spread{ effect in under 3m} ) an that would be ok. |

The Gallente Ion Pistol might work like that. I'm assuming they want variety between the racial guns. |

If it ends up being a multi barreled weapon I think a triple barrel pistol shotty like the one from KZ3 would work well. Keep in mind we will most likely see a multi barreled shotgun type weapon in the future anyway, no reason for it be a sidearm. |

i kinda had this idea earlier any ways a shotgun pistol wopuld be effective if it had 4-5 rounds per clip.
it would be an effectrive solution to nova knives.... |

uhm.... i really dont think we need a Judge replica in this game JUST yet, give it a few months before you sling this one with any seriousness. as cool as it would be, we need to get the mechanics for what we're doing now to work properly |

that was a nice shotgun in KZ, also modled after the Judge revolver.
but at this point in time, would it benefit us to have another unpolished weapon now? or better things fixed on what guns we have now |
