And I've noticed the majority of dimwits think that being good or bad in DUST rests solely on one's ability to fire a gun, failing to recognise that one can be very good at an FPS and still prefer the metagame. Whether or not we choose to play the game in a way that you recognise as skillful or not will usually have very little to do with whether or not we win. |

I guess that would depend on whether you had a good day or a bad day. By the way, whenever someone tells me what games are supposed to be, why do I endlessly have to remind them that that is only what the game is for them? For someone else, it's going to be about something else.

They say that about EVE too, which is also casual friendly. If you want casual friendly, don't go to nul sec. Likewise, if you want casual friendly in DUST, don't go to PC.

Or, we can keep awoxing you until you remember that EVE and DUST are now 2-in-1, and that, as CCP intended from the beginning, what happens in one can and will affect the other.
So no deal, I won't be told how to play a game I enjoy by some spoiled COD brat. New deal: we'll play it our way, you play it yours. Either keep losing to awoxers and whining about them, or learn something from the experience and get better.
Also, I do hope that someone you summon for OB realises how you think of them, and decides to target you instead. Just for the lulz. |

Get over it! No one is gonna play the game the Eve way. You think all the skilled players are going to let you do it that way. FPSers love fighting and more content. You think they will care about all this meta gaming BS. Meta game has failed. Cronos and Orions got their butts whopped. Now its time to get their gun game in order. You dope, people are already playing it the EVE way, hence awoxing. The problem with FPS players is one that was suspected from the start, that they were all raised on games like COD being spoonfed map packs and dull "point and shoot nothing else to it" games.
The thing is, it has achieved something. It's made you mad. Now, you're getting all emotional. If you get this emotional about it in the forums, you must lose your absolute **** when it happens in game. |

They might be playing the Eve way but they are loosing. How long do you thing people will adopt a failing ideology? Now corps are just gonna have holding corps. There go your AWOX. You cant get districts if you cant access them. Dope that out dude!
Failing? How can it be failing when it's only just getting started? I haven't actually been privy to any PC yet, but I've seen this conversation before, when awox himself first started dancing. That's right, the guy who pretty much invented it, who it's named for. It went pretty much the same way it's going now. Since then, whole corps in EVE have been decimated and billions stolen by infiltrations and spies that barely even had to try.
I look forward to seeing similar results here.

Nice work with the quote mining. I know a lot about awoxing, and I just explained that. I was there when it was new to EVE, too, and already know how exactly CCP will respond.
A PC match is just like any other at this stage, except FF is on, and it's a battle for corp-owned territory. So there's a lot that I can assume, and will get right. I've gotten a few minor details wrong, but I've been corrected thoroughly and learned something. You should try learning some time too. |

It's easy to lose someone who was already lost, so I'm not surprised.

Also, I should explain quote mining. It's where you take a single piece of something that someone has said out of context, ignore everything else they said, most of which is relevant to the point they were making, and make it look like they were saying something completely different. It's incredibly dishonest, just as bad as outright lying really. It can be considered as a form of libel or slander in a court of law, by the way.
