I know what your going to say. "Are you serious, they can ohko a heavy!" And you're right, their damage is fine.
It's how the damage applies that needs work.
Currently, it takes .5 seconds just about after I press r1 before the nova knife animation starts. And that animation, which is a double slash, takes quite a bit of time too. Damage is then applied at the end. The problem with this is that 99% of those who use nova knives are scouts. in the 1.5 ish seconds it takes to apply damage, a duvolle AR can output enough dps to kill us 2 times over at least.
I think the animation needs to be shorter and that it needs to start instantly. 0.5 seconds to apply damage is more than fair.
If you haven't used nova knives as more than just a gimmick for lolz a few times, don't bother replying. Your opinion is not valid. |

this plus assault suits backpedaling almost as fast as I run forwards gets me killed more than anything (even the ultra low hp) |

You're telling me you should be able to backpedal at full speed while shooting just as accurately as you would moving forward?
This game mechanic is stupid and should be changed, not to buff knives, only to fix the game. |

Also, only noobs and retards stand still when shooting, so when you successfully flank the enemy with your knives, it is still really freaking easy to miss the first slash. Then you have to chase the guy cuz he knows you're there. And you're not going to catch him. |

My favorite thing in the world is the Sprint jump at the enemy and charge my knives, so I get a ohko when I land on their face.
Only works on scrubs though :( |

I don't know what you are doing with your knives Radar, but it's apparently hax. I've gone 19/1 in an OMS against PRO (died for something stupid), but going against terrible people like that is rarer these days.
Do you just have an amazing connection? Suffer no frame rate drop in cqc? WHAT IS YOUR SECRET?!?!
Other than the ability to charge while sprinting, I think the knives are fine. Enemy backpedal speed is ********, and not just because of nova knives. No one can shoot accurately running backwards like that, not even super clones soldiers. Maybe the Master Chief... but only him!
