I just finished an assault game where we were winning until four tanks got on the field. I am not posting this in anger or anything, but it seems unbalanced in that if you wait until far enough into the game, you can be sure none of your opponents will have an AV set up, nor will they be able to change into one. It is an easy way to rack up a lot of kills without any serious risk. I have no problem with tanks in normal play because of the cost to use them, but assault matches are especially unsuited for them being that it is not isk lost vs isk lost, but kills vs kills.
I am not going to suggest any direct ways to fix it, just that it needs attention. |

It is a problem because it is a stand alone cog that renders the others less necessary; it is part of no machine. |
