Currently, all the complaints/suggestions in GD are kind of haphazard, in that not many people actually see them, and they get lost underneath the weight of all the other threads. I realise that this should be in feedback/requests, but a lot more stuff gets posted in GD, and I've noticed that both CPM and CCP (at least, posting wise) are more active in GD than any other subforum. In essence, I want to consolidate all the suggestions and complaints in GD into one post, where hopefully the CPM and CCP don't have to go through a few hundred of pages of stuff to get the gist of the message. Everything I've come across in the past few days I'll try to put in, so here goes.
- AV and vehicle balance.
Common complaints: AV nades do too much damage to HAV's, too little to LAV's. Also AV nades from nanohives. Plasma cannon needs looking at?
- Vehicles
Common complaints: Free LAV, no HP buff for DS's, no WP's for DS pilots
- TAR's
Common complaints: OP, basically. Too much DPS over too much range.
- Game modes and maps
Common complaints: Not enough variety.
- PC
Common complaints: Too laggy, doesn't cater to small corps, too easy to sabotage through use of squad mechanic
- Controls
Common complaints: Controls still off on ADS for KB/M. Controls still off for DS3.
- Other weapons
Common complaints: Shotguns have no range on them, HMG needs a range buff, scrambler rifle overheats too quickly, MD was nerfed unnecessarily.
- Misc
Common complaints: SP disparity, graphics, matchmaking, lack of communication between devs and players(SP respec), lack of communication in pubs (possibly set coms to on by default), hit detection.

I don't usually go /quite/ that far back (Usually just 2-4 pages), unless the forums have been particularly spammy or inactive.
That's good to know, at certain times I don't see any CPM members actively posting (true, doesn't mean they're not online), so I thought I'd try to help out.
There's also the community part of it, where the community can see this thread and see devs/GMs/CPMs posting and realise it's being monitored, rather then feel like there's no communication between anyone in a place of power/influence and the general playerbase. |
