actually it does require skill to get it which is why its not OP. and to use it effectively and not to just spam some random guys requires a full squad of skill soooooooo I dismiss you comment as off topic and a **** poor diversionary tactic.
Now as to the AR requiring no skill, not exactly true, but the fact remains that it is the easiest gun to use with one of the highest damage per clip, damage per total ammo, accuracy, DPS, reload time, fire rate. In fact I challenge you to find a category that the AR is not one of the best it(beside AV), and then I defy you to find another weapon that comes close. Any thing that could challenge it in its optimal, and some out of it, has been nerfed to near uselessness.
So while the AR does require skill, every other weapon in the game cannot compete with a gun that is point click spray and pray.
please before you comment on this thread tell me what weapon you use. |

To be fair he is right you would be as effective IRL pointing and spraying as it is in game. But yes the ar is so ****** proof that even some one literally spraying and praying will kill some one given enough time. |

@boba's fetta this is a game not real life, weapon balance is far more important than mimicking real life. All of your points are irrelevant.
While I under stand that the AR is supposed to be the jack of all trades, it is also the master of most as well. You can't have a noob tube that dominates in the high end as well as is better the specialized weapons at their jobs, and that is what the AR is a noob tube, that is the only relevant weapon in the game. |

It may be another 3 months before I start see the advanced level guns again unless CCP magically fixes the tree to be less straining from before.
oh I doubt it, to be fair I haven't bothered to try anything other then AR this build, Its not going to stop being the only relevant weapon any time soon, and I have found most other worthwhile weapons in this game aren't worth the skill points leveling past ADV.
actually I lie a gave both new AI weapons a try, MEH I'll take my tac. |
