Go with a suit that matches your playstyle. Caldari Logi is the current flavor of the month, and will eventually be reworked (no official word, just the nature of CCP).
Everything is constantly changing. Only speccing into what's popular now will hurt you later. |

No, but quite a few people have trained QQ Proficiency 5 instead of spending their SP wisely and learning to adapt, so expect the worse.
On a serious note, I recommend you train what suits your style. FOTM will come and go, and there won't be respecs in the future. If you like to move fast and cover distance, maybe Minnie is for you. Prefer laser weapons? Amarr is the right choice. You like having a lot of flexibility in low-powered slots? Go Gallente. You want the best bang for your buck at the moment, go Caldari. Once you get a well rounded build put together, train another race. If you want to be a Tryhard, definitely put all your SP into a single basket and have fun doing only one thing for the first several months you play. Please don't come back with tears in your eyes when CCP releases new content or balance that upsets what you thought would be a sure thing. Right? Do what enables you to have the most fun playing. It's a grind otherwise. |
