When a weapon overheats = Feedback damage Scan = Scan Module that scans from 100-150 meters and picks up the enemy Dust is not easy. Like a boss. Which stats? |

Meta level is basically just an indication of the strength of that item. The higher the Meta level the better the stats. |

Militia= meta level 0 Standard= meta 1
So on and so forth. Meta level determines if you can't use it or have to skill up to use it.

Meta is also your ability to lead lambs to an unexpected slaughter. If forum thread indicators are accurate today, apparently Betamax is Meta 0. |

Was that quite nessecary? There are enough bash threads without jacking another one.
Now then, Meta Level is the general level of power of an item. Meta 0 are nigh useless, meta 1 are slightly better,, and so on. That's about all it is, a rough estimate of power. Best to ignore it and just read the actual stats. |

Pretty much ignore meta level as it is only useful in EVE. Most of the more common modules in EVE have unique names instead of the handy Advanced or Complex tags we have in DUST.
The meta level lets you quickly compare the Alpha Hull Mod Inertial Stabilizer to the Mark i Modified SS Inertial Stabilizer or the F85 Peripheral Damage System to the Psuedoelectron Containment Field without having to scroll through the stats for each item trying to figure out what difference between them is. |

I would certainly like a little more info on scan profiles to be displayed. There's no "at 20 yards you show up with a scan profile of 10." Just something to give us a rough idea. |
