Why is it in 2009 the gameplay looked so much better. :/ now release day 4 years later it's nothing you said it was going to be. You said 10 vehicle classes 8 for release we have 3. You showed the doors opening and closing with elevators to other rooms we have one room in merc quarters and one in the war room. Gameplay showed much better maps and better hacking computers. It's like a whole new game that yes has been improved in terms of It probably more stable, but you can't take away things like 8vehicles and only putting in 3. Thanking away the roaming areas which is what makes every game feel like an MMO.
Look CCP your game is awesome but you look back at 2009 and wonder what happend. I love what dust it now but can't stop realising you could have simply made it so much better with a few things. Prone, the other vehicles, the wepon attachments. I don't think you were ready to release the game as full release. I think you rushed to get it out on the 5/14 date, and if that honestly is the only reason why it's called 514 then that's stupid.
I want you to know I love the game and love playing it but am honestly a little sad about not having the things we used to see in 2009. |

Dust 514 from 2009 is a different engine with the same concept. PS3 couldn't handle it. |

Why did CCP have to remove all the cool features just to bring them back in 3 years? |

It was also a prototype demo. It wouldn't have been playable in any real sense. You might as well be asking why the trailers look better than the current gameplay. |

I'd word it this way: that I'm disappointed in the fact that the proof of concept didn't turn out to be as good as promised. They had so many wonderful concepts and ideas and such, but it didn't work out so well on release. |

Developing for console is highly restrictive unlike developing for PC. They had/have unrealistic goals and needed to tone stuff down so it would work on the hardware. |

Eve is on a platform that can grow as much as it needs to. PC hardware is always improving and new tech allows them to do more.
PS3 is dated hardware that is only going to improve with a new console. CCP has to develope within thelimitations of PS3' hardware. That's all there is to it. |
