Dust 514 has bigger maps, better vehicles, badder guns, better-looking suits for ladies, long-distance range sniping, and more, you name it.
Dust 514 still ripped off the bunny hopping from Halo....

Fill out skill trees with SP you earn by doing nothing is not thinking. The fact that having more SP giving you a God Mode over people with less SP takes even less brain cells.
Do EvE players honestly think they are doing anything more then filling out an IRS form when they Min Max out their spec?
But yeah Dust bunny hops need to go....Even Planet Side 2 does not have them and that has friggin jet packs....let alone CoD or BF3, which are the "AAA" shooters of today.
Note: I am pretty sure Sony is all nice with CCP because Dust fills a check box for them against Xbox's exclusive Halo franchise. Would not be surprised if hopping is requirment put on Dust by sony.
Note2: Just watched some halo 4 multiplayer videos...never played the game. But the hops in that game look more like the leaps of quake arena rather then the avoidance hops Dust has. The Dust bunny hop looks more the shooter hops of Socom and Enemy Territory.
Note3: I hereby claim the name "Dust Bunny" for my alt, future corp and future Dust fanboy punk band name. |

Not being EA or Activision does not equal Indie.
The fact that your game is on the PS3 usually means you are not an indie |

"SS!!! SS!!!"
That sound always reminded me of Berzerk when that friggin smiley face death ball evil otto would roll in.

Note: I claim the name "Evil Otto" |

Indie was originally used for "individual", i.e. you were the company who came up with the idea, approved it and developed it. Generally indie companies use well-known production companies, like SOE, or a good example would be Dishonored using Bethesda Softworks as a publisher. CCP is an indie developer, in that it came up with the idea for EVE online, approved it, developed it from scratch, and eventually wound up publishing it itself (after its publisher went bust). AAA shooters have no set definition, but in general they are seen to be the big ones: CoD, BF, MoH, etc. Not that they're typically examples of the best quality of shooters out there - look at L4D and CS for those rewards.
You do realize that "That Game Company" is owned by Sony right? |
