Cause gallente are the closest thing to the good guys imo/armor tank/art design is pleaseing. They do have negatives though. All the races do. Why anyone would choose amarr beyond the desire to role play a zealot is beyond me.
That beautiful thing about eveonline. It has the most real back story and the most well written/maintained story. Not saying id rather read eve chronicles instead of a book just saying its good lore. |

Mostly cause Caldari remind me of storm troopers and it helps they have a black and white armor pallette that contributes to that. |

I chose the Amarr cause, from what I read in the Chromosome lore notes, they seemed alot like the ancient Japanese with their caste systems and Emperor being revered as descended from the gods themselves. Also helped that one of the bloodlines was themselves named in a Japanese manner and seemed to have a bit of samurai-esque lore. It's funny, I didn't even know about the whole Catholic connection until it was brought up earlier this month. |

^I choose exactly the same reason on this. Plus, I used to be an EVE Online player a couple years ago playing as Gallente too, so I am very familiar with them. I love their ship designs. |

I went Caldari because at the time I was creating a new toon for the Dead Six which is caldari loyalist....since uprising I said death to heth (contrary to my old heth supporting days) and went full amarr, speccing into lasers even though they were kinda crappy, and scramblers a week before they even came out....then I never looked back....
Oh and then my Caldari Loyalist EVE pilot said im bored of ugly ships I want pretty amarr ones....but he couldnt take back his caldari ness so I went Sansha's nation.
Something about insanity and massive destructive toys just appeals to me. |

I was quite intrigued with the depiction of the Caldari corporate meritocracy. I also liked the design of their ships before I even made an account for EVE.
Given how I knew that a Caldari Fighter would be sexy, I made this character Caldari as well.
