Currently we have been experiencing some serious lag in PC games. It appears attackers seem to get preferential treatment with servers over defenders. Well, this is the case for TSOLE anyway. We have discussed with opponents as to their frame performance post battle and have found out they were fine. ie. Nyain San.
Can the CPM please raise this issue with CCP and can we see about defenders getting the server advantage if no equal performance can be met as they have not chosen to be attacked and it is their home ground to begin with. |

Public matches normally run fine without lag, but when it comes to PC matches lag can be severe. It could be that the server priority isn't on PC matches and that by adding additional hardware may improve things. |

That would actually be a nice solution. However, until those fixes were made defenders should still be given server advantage. NOT to the degree that makes the game unplayable for the attackers, but should certainly not hinder the defenders. Losing due to lag is never an honourable defeat. |

agreed this is a MAJOR issue that needs to be remedied YESTERDAY...
cross-region matchmaking is a major issue. We've had matches where that is the sole factor in who wins or loses.
plus we have also noticed that even when on our home server (full ping) that lag increases inside the city of each map type
not so much a framerate issue but a latency issue.
bottom line it is getting more and more strenuous to play PC matches simply due to lag, which stinks cause PC battles are more fun than anything I've done in this game |
