Have a merc drop out of a PC match at the last minute? Absolutely need to take/hold that distract against those bastards in [insert corp here]? Then consider hiring Rinas' Raiders to help ensure that the next match is a winner. Whether you're up against a big name corp or just don't want to take any chances against a tiny one, will work for you to, to ensure that the opposing team is shot as many times as humanly possible.
Full disclosure: There's all of three of us at the moment, so availability will be limited. If you're interested in purchasing our services, shoot me a message in-game and I'll give you our price information. |

Nope. We're just mercs. We fight for who we want, when we want.
It just so happens that there hasn't been anyone but NPC corps to fight for. |

Why limit ourselves to them? I'm good enough that I could (while not turn the tide of battle myself) probably be a decent bit better than some of the people in these corps. No offense to any of ya, but I -have- gone up against members from just about every major corporation on the map, and while I may not have fought you personally, odds are I've come up on top against your regular infantry.
So why not hire myself out? If Seraphim or the Imperfects or whomever decides they need a little extra muscle, I'll be more than happy to provide my lethal services. For the right price, of course. And so will the mercs under me....when I have more of them. |

A little bit of both. The point of my corporation will be to eventually help create some elite squadrons that other, bigger corps can turn to when they either can't make it to the battle or really, really need to win it. Admittedly, at the moment it seems rather far off, but we've all gotta start somewhere, right? |

Hah, fair enough. But I'm hoping that, in time, my skills on the battlefield along with those I accept and train will be enough to warrant my fairly reasonable prices. |

If I had the numbers? And the cash? Sure. As for the reputation, well....that's why I've been playing my butt off recently. The more people who see my name near the top of the leaderboards, the better. But at the moment the most I can say for myself is that I'm not poor and that I'm pretty awesome at the game. |

I've never seen this guy before either but apparently he has bested everyone in my corp so I don't know how anyone of us could have missed him. |

Rinas, get 80M together and attack one of our districts. Put up a good fight and I will endorse your services, as will many other NF. Should be a good reference for future employers, no? |

Quite. But as I'm unable to pull together 80 million at this particular point in time, might I offer a counter suggestion? Send me a squad invite (or Kazu, if I'm unavailable) and put us through any particular test you like. While his own skills in Dust lean more towards heavy suits, he is most certainly no less lethal than myself. |

What if I pay for your services and my enemy buys you out to welch on our deal? Right now there is a trend of people paying off ringers to throw matches.
I am afraid for me to take your offer I will need 80 mil security deposit up front then if the match is won I will give you the 80m back, cover your expenses, and also your contract fee. That is my offer, take it for leave it.
If the match is lost and your score in the match is below top 25% I must assume you threw it and I will keep the 80m to cover the loss of clones, yes you will be blamed. I am fair, I will cover any and all expenses to you. |

If the match is lost and your score in the match is below top 25% I must assume you threw it and I will keep the 80m to cover the loss of clones, yes you will be blamed. This is to reflect your advertising that you are better than any ringer I will be able to find. If you are not of top 25% in the match I must assume you lied about it or you threw the fight on purpose. I am fair, I will cover any and all expenses to you.
If we win and your are of not of top 50% you will not receive return business, because either you lied about your skill or you intended to throw the match and failed. It would also be my obligation to report this to my peers(potential customers)
Personally, if I'm contracted to do a job, I'll do the job. If you guys pay me 10 mil, and someone offers me 100 mil to throw the match, I won't.
Am I stupid for working like that? Possibly. However, we more than others rely on trust. If we can't be trusted then we get no jobs. No jobs = no ISK. Better to take the small jobs and get paid than take a big job and never get paid again.
I'm not saying you should trust us off the mark completely - THAT is stupid. But don't think we'll be so eager to stab you in the back. Since word is getting out about all of these throwing mercs, having mercs you can trust is a rarity. And the Raiders want to be rare. |

Kazu makes a good point. If we went around simply throwing matches just because someone made us a better offer, that wouldn't exactly make for good repeat business, would it? We want to be your go-to mercs for when you absolutely, positively need to either defend a district, attack a district, or send a message. We aren't spies or traitors or any one or thing interested in subterfuge. We just to shoot your enemies in the face and shoot them well.
As for our skills? That's a more understandable doubt., to which I say; Try us out. No cost for the first battle, and I will personally give 20 million ISK to either the corp or that corp's person of choice if I am not within the top five people on that side of the battle. I can't guarantee we'll win, but I will give my word that if that battle is lost, it will not be due to either my actions or the actions of the mercs under me. |

Actually you can be. I've played EVE, I know how things work. And I damn well can convince people. It's not /hard/, but it'll take a hell of a long time. I won't be able to convince everyone, and being trusted completely by people I don't know in real life is unlikely - but not impossible. |

No, a mercenary fights for money. That's... it. When I enter into a contract with you, that is binding. You trust me to do X. I trust you to pay me Y.
The WHOLE POINT behind the Raiders is to have a supply of a very well talented people that you can rely on to fill gaps in your team. You enter into a contract with us, we'll do that contract. Although if you are intent on getting caught up on the language behind what we call ourselves, then Rinas' Raiders is closer to a PMC than a corporation of Mercs. And again, to hammer home the point.
If a contract with us is signed, that contract will be completeld to the best of our abilities. You can damn well include as many points to stop us stabbing you in the back - we won't anyway, because you know, we won't get any more work that way. |
