It requires the same effort from the spy - being a member.
I have nothing against metagaming, but they should have to work for it, ie gaining trust and get director role to take the corp wallet and stuff like that. Just being a member shouldn't allow you to do this much damage to a corp.
Disagree. You can do the same in EVE. A lot of high sec corps recruit, especially the mining ones. Sometimes, it just so happens that they recruit a four day old Minmatar character, who gets into the fleet, uses a Thrasher (total fitting, about 1mil isk) and blows up a few hulks worth 250m each.
That's just from being a member of the corporation.
It's being a spy - everything goes in New Eden. You just need to be thorough in recruitment and management. |

In EVE, blowing up the ship usually takes less time than opening the corp menu, finding the player and kicking him. It's usually quicker to have another ship target him and blow him up, which is why I used to fly my battlecruiser sniper as security in a 0.6 ice mining system. |

Does he respawn a few meters away in the same isolated battlefield as one of 16 people who can't be replaced or added to and capable of continually attacking you, or suiciding away limited amounts of bodies that force a loss when they are depleted?
If the answer is "no," your example does not apply to this game's mechanics.
Something similar, actually. He can warp back to the station, come back in another thrasher, blow up another hulk or two...
Either that or come back in said thrasher and blow up the combat ship. Usually the combat ship is a sniper, so doesn't do so well at close range. Tackle it, orbit at 5k, and he's dead.
So, yes, he is able to continually attack you. Eventually the miners will say "I've had enough, I'm moving to a different corp", and he's basically dismantled a corporation with the loss of a couple of ships worth 1m each.
Edit: Sorry, come back and attack you, and destroy a limited supply of something valuable. |
