I run a proto gal logi and have to say its probs one the best suits ingame. i have good armor hp, great damage and can carry around enough equipment to keep myself and squad alive. sure the explosive aspect hurts like hell but its not as bad as before and the movement penalty changes helped a lot too. |

I have 2 toons, a gallenti assault/AR and a ammar HMG/heavy.
I use the gek with the advanced suit and advanced mods and ill tell you that for me its good. ill get positive k/d ratio unless being proto stomped when I go into sadist mode while everyone is on the mountains I am trying to kill them on the ground....mostly unsuccessfully I may add.
because on both my toons I have no armour rep skills - I am plated to the max which means I cannot go on sprees unless I have a logi bro or reps about but it does allow me to hold my own.
the heavy ......well play one, I am a sadist so I continue doing so in the hope that one day it will be on par with the assault. playing the gallenti assault with the gek is easy mode 9/10 times in comparison.

I'm not sure if you know what sadist means, because using a heavy suit does not make you one. |

Not entirely true. They are not completely useless if you're talking about Gallente in general. Gallente Scout suits have two principle advantages:
1. Profile Dampening
2. Passive Scan Range
Both, when used in conjunction with each other, give these suits the added advantage of being able to decide how to engage their targets without alerting the enemy of their presence in any way. Active Scanners are much useful compared to the Passive Scan of the suit, but the Active Scanners tend to alert your enemy that someone is tracking them and they emit a visible blue beam that can give away your position. The suit's Passive Scanner avoid that altogether but you are forced to give up armor or other things in the process.
I have an alt that is specifically trained for Passive Scanning and I'm currently able to see up to 44m through the walls with the passive scan alone. Here is my fit.
['Neo' All-Seeing-Eye]
'Neo' Scout GK.0
1x Advanced Precision Enhancer (high slot)
1x Enhanced Profile Dampener (low slot)
3x Enhanced Range Amplifiers (low slots) = 35% bonus to Scan Range
1x 'Exile' Assault Rifle BPO
1x Militia Locus Grenades BPO
(I forgot the rest. I'm not in front of my PS3 right now)
[Related Skills]
Gallente Scout Dropsuits = 10% bonus to Scan Range per level (@ level 4)
Range Amplification = 10% bonus to Scan Range per level (@ level 3)
Put together this makes me able to see up to 44 meters through the walls without alerting the enemy to my presence. The single profile dampener is for added security from the enemy's active scanners (at least most of them). |

This suit does suck i played as one and every ******* time 3 shots is all it takes or 1 no suit should be that ******* weak and the heavy should be stronger as well , its really the assault rifles that are the problem they are over powered . |

most likely not man i wouldnt waste my time the gallente scout suits is ******* useless your sniping or building him to be a recon type charecter . and as you notice none of them guys said anything because they know this suit is **** and they never tried it so they could care less but they dont want it to be more strong cause this it would be worth a ****. |
