As far as I am concerned there is no perfect solution, someone legitimate will not be allowed to vote because of it. So the next step is to find the most 'perfect' solution that even if that legitimate person cannot vote this year, he/she would be able to vote the next year at least. The criteria I would like to see is to allow everyone to be able to vote that actively plays and lower the amount of 'vote farming' alts that could vote.
Hmm, do you think it's possible to actually track a certain level of activity on a given account, and through that "verify" a player and allow them to submit a vote? If so, the voting system should be 100% in game, with some information or links to information right from your neocom.
My only thing is that you could just afk on a bunch of alts to "verify" your account. Hmm, curious indeed. |
