I have 210 shields and 169 armor and was one hit killed by someone using the either the GLU-5 or Duvolle TAR. Not sure if this is because of some bug or if they just had an insane amount of damage mods, just wanted to point this out. |

Mouse macro, turbo modded controller or simply a congested internet connection that delivered damage dealing data packets in a single burst.
I run into those kind of lamers on all characters and accounts I play on, instagibs where you realize "oh crap I'm taking fire" and drop dead at "oh" happen too often.
..luckily this is being looked into. Hopefully by jamming a fixed rate of fire into weapons of the click to fire kind, because that's the only thing necessary. |

The AR, and especially the TAR, need work. I used to use the TAR sometimes in beta, it was not a serious weapon. I agree that gravity and tragectory could rectifiy this issue to some degree, but I think the real problem is the "cheater mouse/keyboard" that enables this weapon to be fired as only "some" players do. With a regular ps3 controller I don't feel the TAR is overpowered. Make it a "real" TAR - make it so the barrel warps from heat decreasing accuracy and causing jams, or simply change the rate of fire to say, 2 or 3 rnds per second? That might sound extreme to some (who have recently embraced a weap they once wouldn't touch) but it is closer to what the weap really is. Try it with an AR5 or M16A2 and you'll understand |

PS: 2 or 3 rounds per second warps a TAR barrel in real life. The barrel actually changes color, and becomes almost useless apart from close range. An Eve LR should outclass a TAR without a second thought. |

Yes, the TARs are broken but you could easily get an actual OHK with a headshot. |
