Would anyone like to set up a CB with Jenza? It will be Jenza's tank and 5 infantry of her choice against a squad of 6 with 1 swarm and 1 forge. If jenza manages to get more than 20 kills with a BLASTER or MISSILE LAUNCHER while not dying once, tanks are fine. If she dies, gets less than 20 kills, uses a railgun, recalls her tank, or hides for more than 3 minutes total throughout the match, tanks are broken and she has to bring it up. Anyone want to place bets?

Okay, I started tanking around February, or right after chromosome was released, and it was HARD, then. Maybe 20 tankers could make a living purely off of tanks at that point. Now, it's even harder. At least half of them have stopped tanking now because it is THAT hard. These were guys who could survive an entire squad of dedicated AV and still get a few kills. That is completely impossible, now. If you even show your face, you will die. I can't even name ten REALLY good tankers that are left. I'm barely breaking even at this point and that's ridiculous.

Jenza, I won't troll you or tell you that you suck because I wasn't there, but tanking is very different now. If vehicles ever get fixed, the tankers who come out of it will be the survivors of a mass extinction- the best of the best.

I urge you to spec fully into shield tanks to see how useless they are in tank v tank combat. And armor tanks are pretty useless in infantry combat because of the number of AV nades there are (a squad of 6 is capable of 27,000 damage over 3 seconds if they all have the hacked adv av nades).

If you can survive 7 battles in a row without losing a tank (using a blaster or missile tank), then go ahead and say tanks are fine. But if you can't then tanks are obviously terrible because one could have vehicle skills completely maxed out and still be extremely weak. It's a pointless career, now.

I would also like to remind the Council that we have lost our 3% damage bonus, 25% of our potential PG, and the 10% resistance "buff" skill doesn't matter if AV got the same buff to their damage without investing skill points. Also want to point out that everybody has thousands of hacked ADV Av grenades which deal 1500 dmg without any skill or investment of any kind into AV and only cost 2000 ISK, as well as proto forges which 2-shot any vehicle in the game, and swarm laucnhers which still make >90 degree turns. Then combine all of that with railguns and missile turrets which don't always fire wen you press R1, tanks which cost 1.2 million isk, dropships that rarely last a whole match even in skilled hands, suicide free LAVs, shield hardeners with a 10 second pulse, mlt swarms which make madrugars run for their lives, a squad capable of doing 27,000 DPS in 3 seconds (AV nades carried by every team member), and last but not least, tanks that move too slowly to get away (thanks to the speed nerf of the HAVs).

Yea, playing against Psychotic's tank is a pain, I just dont bother calling in my shield tank when hes around.

yes he certainly knows his armor and yes neither do i unless he specifically asks me not to ..lol ...to be honest if tanks arent fixxed ima start running ina six man squad of all tankers

But... you weren't good in a tank. You only ever used one if you could queue sync with people to be your gunners back when there were no squads, and even then you had horrible situational awareness and would constantly get flanked and killed or rely on other people/tanks to take damage for you. You only really excelled at camping static spawn locations with large missiles back when they had huge splash damage and radius.

Please don't be the voice of vehicle balance. We don't need you.

Meh why are we complaining? We complain when theres no Vehicle player in CCP and when someone wants to check it out to see how it is and we complain again. Ya'll don't have to take offense and pick up pitchforks when she talks about E3, doesn't matter. Means we have someone from CPM doing **** in tanks and if anything, should be offering support, squads and other **** so that we can fix these pieces of junk for once.

PART of the reason for trying tanks again in the first place was because some people where complaining about no vehiculars being on the CPM, and i had considered doing it for a while. I origionally created the character to test LLAVs because there had been mixed reviews on it.



nothing at all, like i said, i quite enjoy being a scout. to be honest the only role i didnt exactly enjoy was a triage logi, I prefer to shoot stuff.

were going to nerf your dropsuit CPU and reduce all of your weapon proficiency skills to 1% per level. adapt to that

She has basically admitted to allowing the CPM to stealth nerf us, with change of the turret skills. If none of them were even driving in vehicles to start with, why the hell are they changing our skills around like its no big deal?

the CPM is about as honest and open with us as the U.S. Government, and prolly just as useless.

I have watch CCP take in information from people who lack knowledge on the subjects and things get changed for the worse.

Trying to teach jenza is not going to be possible. It is not her passion. She will not pick up everything you talk to her about. And important factors will be left out that might not seem important. Causing fixes to actually break mechanics instead of make them better. SO yes I do not agree with her talking to CCP about tanks. Her passions are elsewhere in the game. her knowledge is elsewhere. CCP needs to talk to people who truely understand the mechanics. So they can fix them build them up and diversify tanking. Currently Tanking is getting mashed into one style and with jenza you might get a buff but the diversifications would be left out. Making it boring.

I feel like tanks are becoming a sitcom.

Caeili is like the smart guy. The one who does the math and can give you numbers on what is actually going on. Slap too, but kind of has that grumpy old man vibe to him. Then you've got me and Mort who are probably to most vocal, but rarely use numbers to explain ourselves and get told to HTFU on a regular vasis by AR scrubs. Finally, we've got Jason Pearson who is about is vocal as me or mort, but more on the psotive side. And of course General Grodd who is the only one of us left that believes tanks will make a come back. Then zombie supreme will chime in every now and again with a complaint here or there, but still, pales in comparison with me or mort as far as unrefined forum whining goes. Lol. I'm a whiner. I admit it. But I have good reason to whine. :P NERF DROPSUIT PG, DAMAGE, AND CPU and double module/weapon CPU/PG costs. Then everything will be even. Hahaha. Im just a bitter tanker :/
