Your Fluid Quantum Router Implants routing though your arm mounted Cortex computer has nearly a extremely large amount of access to computing power provided it can be lent, most likely the nearby MCC, command center, or Warbage, will be helping the hack entirely overpower even the most complicated defense measures and since your own computer is biological there isn't a true defense against such attacks.
It has been proven time and time again that human powered computers that normally found aboard capsuleer and similar ships are immune to hacking from even technologically native species, the Rogue Drones which are probably the second best hackers in the galaxy able to turn entire ships against its own crew.
Null cannons would probably in the hands of a Non-Elysian or Non-Empyrean would take an hour to hack based on current data warfare measurements if he had the proper tools and equipment. Chances are they're no where near as small as our cortex computers which is just an extension of your subconscious. |

Why us and capsuleers. Data to us is similar to nerve impulses that can possibly be interpreted many ways. Hacking for us is just sheer will of thought like imagining yourself taking a brick wall apart with a sledge hammer. Whatever works for you. |

Most Mindclash players cannot seem to transpose themselves as entire starships though, they're incapable of mapping that many real world systems to every inch of their mental being. Its easy to mentally believe yourself as some mythical monster or legendary hero without the need to map the internal organs or anything of similar manner. For starships everything must be mapped from the ship's interior lighting to the core of the engine containment it all has to transposed into the mental state. This why Boosters which alter thinking heavily alter ship performance. Activating shields for example has been considered a rather unpleasant experience similar to electrocuting your entire skin with painful voltage. In bound damage registered as pain. Anger translates into weapons firing.
Mercenaries are very similar in this regard as well as most of the lessons learned in transposing humans for ship control has been used in transposing our mental states in clone control. While the clones are mostly human they're military designed humans. Titanium skeletons, enhanced muscles, redundant organs, immune systems tolerant of armor plate repairing nanites. Synapse control directly into the suits controlling their every moment as if it where our bodies. Our defense and attack software very similar as our subconscious is constantly fighting against hostile defenses and offenses constantly adjusting frequency on demand lowering the amount of damage attacks can cause while maximizing the damage profile of fired weapons such as adjusting explosion angle even. This is why training shields and armor increases effective damage you can take while weapon proficiency can maximize damage output.
Similarly our vehicles could be controlled the same way using near communications to help relay information and manage defense and offense calculations. |

I don't even want to ask what sensation goes with repairing someone.
I know being repaired is just as painful as getting hurt. |

Instead of, say, a launcher that fires missiles.
Still don't know how they messed that one up.
The tech is pretty brand new we never had MCCs before and originally the device where cannons. But as defense software for the MCC improved the weaker the original cannons got. It came down to the point that the only viable Anti-MCC weapon left where missiles that changed their attack profile inflight just as rapidly as the MCC could change its defense profile.
This is why smaller cannons and small arms are now seemingly nullified when trying to damage an MCC. "Null" cannons and the XL guns controlled by the MCC are the only two weapons left on the battlefield able to damage them. |
