- The Battle Academy is a very good introduction for new players, but i feel that a second tier is need it "Proving Grounds" where newish players can learn about Skills, Equipment, and different roles.
- A more detail tutorial is badly need it, and a more detail explanation of what each skill does. A " Class Creation Tutorial ", will be a very good addition.
- PVE . This NEEDS to happen soon, at the moment the Planetary Conquest feels uncompleted.
- A Corporation List for new people, so they can look at which corps the may want to join. " Corporation Recruitment Board "
- A virtual environment for players to interact, is also badly need it. " Station Bar " or " Recreation Area "
That are my suggestions for now. |

First of all i think CCP should increase the amount of WP/SP needed to get out of academy battles. As far as i've heard a lot of new guys are not near ready to get thrown at the protos when they are released from the academy battles.
Next step is to make a better introduction. I heard CCP talk about this at fanfest that they wanted to have a kind of training ground where people would get shown how to call in orbitals, vehicles, set squad orders, shift to different gun / equipment, quick run down on how the most basic equipment works (nanohive, nanite injector, repper), telling and showing the new people what the different installations on the map do, and last but not least introduce the new player to all the different categories of suits (light/medium/heavy)
Then i think they would be really well prepared for the harsh and unpredictable life in new eden
PS: They'll be ready to get driven over by murder taxis !!! |

I mostly agree, but https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=37174&find=unread
Also according to CCP from Fan Fest 2012, PVE will be coming in 2012. Wait a second . . . Yeah I don't understand what the big hold up on PVE is. |

I know all this things have been mention before, i did mention few of them my self. But player "retention" in Dust 514 still low, the Planetary Conquest haven't help at all, and the Battle Academy alone, isn't good enough to keep people interested for longer than a week.
Like you say... whats the hold up with PvE CCP ? |
