Before I say anything else, Destructoid PRIDE themselves on a true 1 to 10 scale. That means they have 5 as an average, not a 7 like most websites.
It's a mostly fair review except I don't understand his beef with the marketplace. From what I can tell, it's obvious the Aurum items only reduce wait time, and offer to advantage.
I'm not sure where his P2W thing comes from but I agree with the rest of it. Score seems about right too. |

I hope this post lights a fire in CCP's hind-quarters.
This game needs a bit more to make it feel like a true AAA contender.
Right now its at AA status.
Its addicting to those who put the work in, and the game as a whole is fun.
Now it just needs more polish and features to make it shine.
A tutorial for new players wouldnt hurt at all. |

The game modes right now are generic, simple, boring, and lacking variety. Essentially only TDM, and point-capture; the rest is just variations of those 2. It's inexcusable to launch a multiplayer only shooter with only 2 boring modes (bring back Skirmish 1.0 ASAP), and its inexcusable to launch an MMO without PVE. |

Actually read it and the guy seems like a mug, Complains about single use vehicles, complains about Aurum stuff being p2w. He had a few points but completely dropped the ball in the last bit.
Then I checked the comments, the guys who are like "Waaah Micro transactions and having to pay for each item repeatedly is a non-starter for me". Do we really need them? Scrubs like that aren't worth having around, I mean, I never understood reviews on a F2P game and people reading it and never bothering to try the f2p game itself. It's completely free to try, why take the word of someone who's played it a bit and probably doesn't understand most of it? *Sighs* |

I find it funny and deserving how reviewers are calling CCP out on their bullshit and they dont even know it... CCP promised so much with Uprising and provided very little, because the massive amounts of server/game stability issues, etc... I could list them but the majority of us fanboys that stalk the forum are awaiting fixes for the majority of stuff that wasn't broken pre-uprising..
Being that the majority of console players have a few months attention span lets hope the free2play and free updates brings players in or keeps them coming back because these reviewers are tearing it up...  |

We should all care about reviews. The future of this game depends on it being populated.
So while our own day-to-day impression of the game isn't going to change just because IGN said this, or Kotaku said that, their reviews hold a large influence over how many new players this game can attract. |

Fair review for a sub-par title to be honest.
Fanboys can wax the lyrical all day about "potential" but that doesn't change the reality.
Check in once again in a few years to see if months of crippling losses and another investment to renew the target platform improve things.
For now it's a fairly clunky game trapped in a PS3 time warp. |

The reviewer's whine about the marketplace and F2P aspect was rat-****, TBH. Other than that, 'tis a fair review.
Also, something suggests that the reviewer didn't review it properly: no mention of sticky surfaces and hidden walls. |

The new player experience is ugly and confusing. You vets won't understand this because you've had enough time to process how everything works, but I'm just going to say this is not the only reviewer that'll talk about how unnecessarily confusing the market is.
We all know that the Aurum system is, across the board, pay to get the next tier for the previous tier's skills. Guess how apparent this is until someone sits you down and tells you that. Not at all. You can't blame people for being confused when the interface implies every gun is an individual gun and not just a named rebadge of the one below.
"If I accidentally clicked an option for an Aurum package, I had to wait upwards of 10-20 seconds for it to load, advertising the egregious $99.99 option."
I mentioned this several months ago. It's poor form to put traps in your own interface, like the first option of every market level being BUY AURUMZ. Was then, still is. People notice this stuff. |

Yea man even if any review gave this game a low score, due to all the internal errors it has and them giving it a more negative feedback compared to other reviews, I would still play the game... I give this game a 8 out of 10 to be honest...
