lolwut? Anyone actually paying a ransom is effectively just funding their aggressors endeavours. Better to just cut your losses and not pay a dime. Ransoms are for the weak and greedy. Just shoot them and be done with it. |

This was a thread for the EVE intel geeks who have just realized they have a multitude of expendable assets nestled deep in enemy ranks.
some of these assets are director-level, and can allow expendable assets in.
You tryhards are worrying far too much about me, and far too little about the EVE nerds you deride amongst you who have been doing this kind of thing for YEARS.
You're all screwed.
And it's delicious. LOL How about I take a mushroom and enjoy eve-tards all night long? EVE holds no influence here because CCP can't program a rubber chicken. Do you think your special for doing something any idiot can pull off? You realize how many alts I have in every single corp? I could pull this trick off and just LOL my way through - anyone could. You guys are either special-ed or just enjoy beating your chest to no one who cares. Your not special and can be replaced by a monkey.
First of all, be careful with your jumping to conclusions, because EVE players have been doing this sort of thing for years, just not in an FPS. Also, I don't think you understand what CCP are capable of. You seem to be basing your judgment of them entirely with what they've accomplished on DUST. That's a mistake. When DUST and EVE are fully interlinked, I guarantee you you're going to see something you've never seen done before, and it's most likely going to come from EVE players, even if it doesn't come from EVE itself. Especially when the economies are fully entwined. As soon as CFC is able to directly funnel resources from EVE to DUST, we're pretty much all screwed anyway. If HBC doesn't get there first, of course.
Don't underestimate people who know far more about the way New Eden and CCP work. I agree, this Grief Uni lot seem to be pretty lame, and using some imaginary "power of EVE" to prove a point means nothing, since they don't actually seem to have any influence in EVE, but it would be a mistake to assume that people from EVE are never going to be able to influence the goings-on in DUST, just as much as people in DUST will have influence over the happenings in aspects of EVE.
And also, a large percentage of DUST's core audience is EVE players. Whether it's a majority or a minority, I couldn't say, but I doubt it would be a tiny one if it's the latter. Best not to forget that, because there will be people just silently watching, and waiting, and taking names. |

You seem to forget how slow CCP is at doing anything. EVE and DUST will be linked - sure - but not for another year. You guys seem to think EVE matters - It doesn't. I want it too - I want everything you say to come true and make me regret my words. But it's not happening for another year or plus
I'm not forgetting anything. Slow or fast, it's going to happen. That's my only point. How long it takes is irrelevant. And I don't care what you choose to read or not read, ignorance is entirely your choice in that regard. |

Ignoring my words, and what I was saying, is leading you to the assumption that I am talking about now. The true mark of a COD kiddie - unable to see the bigger picture. You should know, though, that I am unconcerned about what you think you know about EVE unless you've been there yourself. And also, don't get me wrong, I'm not making threats, I posted what I did as a genuine desire to raise your awareness of the bigger picture. But again, we're back to you choosing ignorance instead and just focusing on what's now instead of what might come later.
I'm also not taking sides here, don't make the mistake of assuming that. I have no love for this Grief Uni group, but I also have no love for yours. Or CFC. Or HBC. I'm just trying to help DUST players who have never experienced EVE and its nuances understand that there is a bigger picture, and it is coming. Whether it's coming now, or in two days, or two years, it's coming. |

Ignoring my words, and what I was saying, is leading you to the assumption that I am talking about now. The true mark of a COD kiddie - unable to see the bigger picture. Is it? I'll give it a read through later then. Most comparison to EVE and DUST have been utter bullshit so far so I may of jumped the gun when you tried to compare it yourself - but the meta of the two games may be more similar then I expect. Still so much for me to grasp.
I wasn't comparing. I've also expanded on my post that you quoted above. |
