Hi,
I have just skilled into Armoured HAVs to the value of 8 mil SP with 200k left over. I know, I know terrible decision but I have been playing Logi in Ambush since the beginning of Feb and I want to explore other aspects of the game. I have focused on mainly core, turret, and armour skill particularly those that give additional passive boosts.
However, I am struggling with getting a decent fot and would appreciate any help on module fittings etc that anybody is willing to give. If anybody is willing to give any training in game then would be great.
A couple of people have posted some new tank start info since the changes from Uprising but they have mainly focused on shield tanks.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks for reading. |

If you peruse through the forums you'll find a little guide I made, look for the one labelled with "(Fittings)" in it. You'll get some tips on how to fit both armour and shield, unfortunately I can't link anything so you'll have to find it. it's still on the front page though. |

Hi Exerminatus,
I did see your 2 posts, which were very useful, and I am planning to change my fittings based on the info to include the active scanner and for 2 resistances. I already have a repper thankfully but I was hoping for a little more detail on the specific modules, including the name or at least if they use the STD, ADV or Proto version, that tankers find most useful on armoured tanks.
A bit like the fitting guide for the 2 HAVs on your post. Though I believe that the examples you gave were for shield tanks.
Thanks for your post and if you do have a fit for the mad or the adv armour tank, van't remember what it is called, it would be appreciated. |

The madrauger is indeed the armor tank, and I only covered the basics of tanking since this is a rookie thread. I might look into making a blog or publishing articles in tandem with some guys to help teach people tanking in more detail But as a basic madrauger fit you want the same conventions, the shield tank and the armor tank are VERY similar on the militia fits but the Soma can get more resists from having more low slots.
Essentially you'll want as the guide says, a repper, two resisist mods and a tank. Standard fit goes as follows: highs: Damage Control Active Scanner/shield extender module
Meds: 80gj scattered neutron blaster 20gj neutron blaster 20gj neutron blaster
lows: heavy armor repper nano membrane nano membrane 180mm plate power grid expansion module |
