I once chased down a fatty and beat him in the head because he ran out of ammo. I could have just shot him, but I felt it would have been more demeaning if I killed with a soft bump to the head. |

I had a fight in closed beta where me and another dude got into a circle strafing fight. We were both packing the militia assault fit.
We emptied our AR clips into each other, drew our scramblers, missed horribly, and when he turned to run I sprinted up behind him and pistol-whipped him in the back of the head. 
There was a much more recent one that occurred after the recent HMG fix. I got the drop on a Minmatar scout and some of his buddies, but he just bobbed in and weaved in and out of my cone of fire and then promptly one-shotted me with his proto nova knives. |

I cornered a dude out of ammo yesterday, and just before I finish him my SMG reloads. He popped me in the mouth twice with a melee and down I went. GG anonymous Merc whose name I don't remember. |

I've killed a few guys lately after I ran out of ammo and they were trying to strafe around me with an AR. I felt like beating my chest after and screeching like a monkey. |

i was on the table top with a heavy suit and ran out of ammo. some scout ran circles around me as i tried to land a punch. he eventually got through my shields and armor with his knives. i don't think i landed a single blow. |

I my scout shotty, i ran out of ammo for both my shotty and toxin... And NO blue dot had ammo... NO ONE!
So i had to Melee people for the next 3-5 min of the game.
I went up against an assault AR and just strafed out of his bullets decreasing distance from each other. Once I got close i tried melee ing however it seems like its a bit glitchy cuz even when I hit him, it didnt register half the time. In the end i could only get 1 kill in the span of 5 min on a heavy.. Mainly cuz he was reloading and couldn't run |

I feel like that after every time I beat a PRO or Heavy to death. Good times!

I'm a logi, and carry advanced nanohives. Occasionally though the action roams on from where I placed them and people fail to kill me. The inevitable happens and I run out of bullets :p |

Meh, better off bringing a knife to a gunfight, in any case, if you see me on the battlefield, expect to do the tango with me throughout the entire match with my minmi scout. Now whether i stab you, punch you, or just shoot your face off with my shotgun, I'll keep that as a surprise. =) |

I've frequently had to leroy jenkins my way into a pile of enemies because I too ran out of ammo. There is a disturbing lack of nanohives floating around right now. Mostly because most of us who are desperately trying to run as a logi bro had to make the choice between rez / repair / resupply and can only pick two. |

I've been tossing some finishing moves on logis and heavies with my minnie a-1. I am in awe when i do it because i only have 180shield/80armor. I find SMGs are the best for melee attacks. they are the easiest to aim.
supposedly, there is some kind of melee aiming, but i never saw a difference between chromosome and uprising. |

Double flaylock pistol.
Shoot one, switch to other one and at that point if they arent dead (due to poor aiming) a quick melee should be ok.
Minmi scout with sprint mods ? Hard to hit with a gun at close range. |

I brought a freebie assault outfit to spawncamping the enemy alone.
After running dry from a long series of fire fights, I had to resort to pistol whipping players with assault rifles, LAVs, SMGs. When the third player died to my melee..
..I had to call in a LAV and go re-arm 
(morning-noon CET playing is fun) |

I've this technique practically engraved into my brain from too much Halo 2 in college.
I am a firm supporter that a melee kill is the most insulting/satisfying kill on the feed. I feel like half the people forget melee is there. After the clip is empty I love throwing that elbow of faith. |

Militia Shotgun vs. 5 Snipers on a hill. 6 shots, 2 left, one dies to melee instantly, the other takes a couple of melee hits before I switch to SMG and finish the job.

I was pinned down behind a pile of crates by 4-5 guys. I lobbed 3 locus grenades over but killed nobody. One of them came around the crates to flush me out and I managed to kill him with a melee hit because he'd been hurt by my grenades. Then I got gunned down because I had stepped out of cover. |

i had a scout try to sprint at me with nova knives the day off the HMG buff, did not work out so well for him, i had a advanced burst hmg and one quick burst bye bye scout
i have also punched people to death has they have got to close to my heavy and it was to hard to shoot them :P |

Had an engagement where we were CQC behind some crates, and both ran out of ammo. Too close to reload. Had to resort to Melee Bashing each other and dancing around. No one else around. It was awesome. Lasted a good 6 seconds. Couldn't even see anything. Very up close. Flashes of color and noise. Surreal and gritty. |

This is what I am talking about, I have the most fun in brawls. I've had some where they tried to run so they could get a chance to reload and I just kept after them until I put them down or they put me down.
I will also agree that it is probably the most demeaning way to dispatch your foe in an FPS. I think it is hilarious when they do things that telegraph their butthurt over being beat to death. I had one who died to my SMG butt and immediately brought out a HAV with a proto blaster and came straight back to the objective I was at. They hid there almost the whole rest of the match under the one building on Line Harvest. Yeah, they killed me several times with it and ended the match with a positive KD, though they were negative when I beat them to death. Good times, especially when you know they are rocking expensive fittings and you're in a starter fit (modified, though still cheaper than 20k per fit). |

This is another reason why I want 100% FF on in all game modes, I leroy'd into a group of reddots the other night only to be put down with a mass driver, if FF was on, he'd have killed at least 4 of his own teammates. |

Went into a fight with three people on my side and one on the other....
We gave him a fair chance by only using Nanohives.
So we find him and swarm him and he kills myself and another of my squad mates but numbers prevail and our last guy takes him down.
So our squad respawns and we start screwing around at the back of the map and this guy comes up and starts circling us with a Nanite Injector. We then proceeded to have boxing matches for the rest of the match. 1v1 with great effect. |

I just got out of a match where a reddot tried to melee me while I was unaware of him. I dumped a little of my SMG into him and then double tapped him with the butt of my SMG. I teabagged him right there in the middle of the street and then dumped the rest of my clip into him to bleed him out.

I've been trying the scrambler rifle and its pretty cool scouts are the bain of my existence flighty little devils...
So I'm pewpewing doods get a glorious charged headshot and watch him crumple and hear the dreaded shwing shwing of nova knives behind me I jump over my cover and turn to see a minni scout charging at me like a bat outta hell.
I start running backwards trying to land a shot on him with the semi auto asr. I hit him once and his shields are gone... like completely gone.
But he's in range and starts charging the knives I knew I was dead if I didn't do something so out of desperation I charge him throw the peoples elbow...
Boom dead scout... many manly shouts and oh yeas where had... |
