Are you really the same dude? I really thought it was an imposter trying to make you look bad when I first read it! Nope, it's me trying to make myself look bad. Fooled ya. |

Vyzion Eyri wrote:Mithridates Vl wrote:
The Imperfect greets his fellow with a friendly "memento mori" or "remember that you will die". She is an absurdist, a disciple of Sisyphus, struggling for the sake of the struggle and enjoying a freedom without regard to common rules. He maintains a lawless integrity. To him, everything is permitted, but this does not delight him, he simply accepts it as reality. Each life and death he casually accepts is a satirical commentary of the existence of the mortal. The human condition is absurd and our immortality doubly so.
Is "The Imperfect" a he or a she? Or is this error part of the imperfection of the post?
It's not an error, it's an easier way to express gender neutrality than to use a single pronoun as neutral. Each of the pronouns refers to a different person, or someone who is gender fluid. |

Not your call, to be honest. It's not fan art. It's the beginning of a general discussion.
Or, y'know, a target for ad-hominems and general discouragement without any specific criticism of the post, because that's how the children on these forums roll. |

Ankoku Daishogun wrote:You're giving your corp a bad name, I don't know how they let you in PR in the first place. A witty and incisive critique based on a deep understanding of the motives and inspirations of the corporation I'm representing. I'm impressed. You must have read my earlier "behind the scenes" style posts. Nobody gets let into PR. It's where they put you if you've got no gun game. |

All I see is a me me post and no discussion happening only bashing . It's not about me, it's about the philosophy behind the group. And it's an exploration of why people like you might have the reaction you are having to the post. |

Noc Tempre wrote:While you use the prose of a mythic figure, you seem to have beautifully capture the essence of the Imperfect. It's funny, this isn't even a troll at all beyond mentioning the Imperfects in the first place.
This is the purpose of the thread and the beauty of the Imperfect. We have a unique wu wei in trolling by not trolling. When I troll, it is unobserved and has a silent and subtle effect. When I do not troll, the community revolts and finds bait where there is none, subconsciously rebelling against the lack of the troll by creating their own source of offence. |

Don't believe your own PR... that's always a fatal mistake. It's not PR. It just has to be approved by PR before release. |
