I'm actually discussing this with CCP right now, there ISN'T any need to have this be the purpose of the CPM forum, its redundant.
I'm asking them to update the introduction so that this is a duplicate of the EVE-O forums' Jita Park, not the Assembly Hall. The CSM has actually been asking CCP to remove the Assembly Hall for two years now and roll it in with the F&I subforum, so that players aren't misled to think that the CSM/CPM's primary job is count likes on a thread and show that to CCP. The Assembly Hall is a relic from the old method the CSM operated under before we started using Skype daily and became active stakeholders in the development process.

The way I see it, this is an easier platform for direct communication with the CPM, this subforum is just for that. It is for you, the playerbase, to have easy and direct forms of communication with the CPM.
If you are fine having your idea be buried by the countless "Lol nerf this ******* weapon you shitheads" threads in War Room, Feedback/Requests and other subforums, please feel free.
CCP saw the purpose of the original proposal and others supported the idea. |

im not very knowable about forum tools but can you tag member of the CPM so that only they and CCP can create threads, you can then get focused feed back as well as general

The problem is that anybody can (and will) make a post and/or reply. There will be just as much noise here as anywhere else. This subforum doesn't offer anything different from GD or Feedback other than CCP saying it's somehow more important.
CPM have been given double the workload and our concerns placed anywhere else has been deemed "not as important" by CCP far as I'm concerned. |

If this forum fills up with random requests for feature changes, discussion of bugs, or other "fix this" issues, we won't be able to read it any better than we can any of the other subforums. Like I've said, putting the CPM name at the top does not magically transform us into robots capable of digesting thread material as fast as its spammed.
If you want to get our attention to a thread that we haven't noticed it on our own, please simply send us an email, tweet, IRC ping, or Skype message, whichever you prefer. However, please keep discussion of the game itself to the appropriate subforum out of respect for your peers that do want to discuss issues surrounding the CPM as an institution. |
