Swamp support with help tickets!!

Same thing for me in Pennsylvania. Completely screwed my ten PC battle this morning... I am deleting and reinstalling to see if it is corrupt data... I'm half way through. Ill let everyone know what I find since CCP is not helping with this issue....

Hello,

We are very sorry that you are experiencing a problem in the game.

Please delete the game cache to see if this address the problem.
Here we can confirm that deleting a saved game data and delete/reinstalling the game client does not affect your progress in the game as all the game data is stored in our main server.
At first, please try emptying the cache for DUST 514. To do this, please go to PS3 Home - choose Games - Saved Data Utility - DUST 514.
Then Press the "triangle" for Options and then "Delete".

If this does not address the problem, then it appears you may have a corrupt install of the game.
Please delete the game and then reinstall it again.
I have included instructions on how to do this below.

Instructions:
- Under "Games" on the XMB, hover over DUST 514.
- Press Triangle
- Select Delete and confirm deletion

Then to reinstall:
- Select the "Playstation Network" on the XMB
- Select "Account Management"
- Select "Transaction Management"
- Select "Download List"
- DUST 514 will be listed on this screen, select "Download"

Does a full re install help?

Borked YOUR schedule ! ? ... My Planetary Conquest Battle has come and gone and I'm still stuck on updating screen!

I have talked to a lot of my corp mates... west coast US made it in. All of my European corp mates made it in. It seems like this is a central and eastern US glitch.

Mad dog... how far along are you with the updating game client after your reinstall?

Ran wireshark. Once the game starts up and it gets to the Patch Notes screen there is an encrypted handshake exchange between the console and the server that repeats itself over and over.

Server: hey dude.
PS3: oh hey man, can I get that file?
Server: sure, whats the password?
PS3: waffles

PS3: umm... the file?
Server: sure, whats the password

The problem is server side, reinstalling shouldn't work btw

Mine was working fine then it stopped. Glad CCPs trouble shooting put us in a worse position. ..

I sit here... refreshing... over.. and over in hopes someone has found the solution... I havn't seen dog's next update.. maybe he succeeded and has forgotten bout us... maybe not.. but frankly.. all I'd really like is just a simple Dev post on this thread saying it's being looked into and that maybe it isn't isolated to 1 time zone.. (which I don't think works that way considering we all operate on the same server) just a message of reassurance is all then I can go nap... till then.. *hits post and begins refreshing*
