Now what I'm really annoyed with is why everyone else's avatar seemed to be fixed but I'm still stuck with Caldari despite picking Gallente as my race. Plus it's Caldari, worst avatar for a Gallentean.

It doesn't matter what you train but it has always affected your skills. In dust they let you do whatever you want with your starter sp but give you a suit... a free suit that is pretty decent (by noob standards)
