I was thinking of the great sci-fi stuff of years past, and was thinking about some of the star wars stuff. The clones in episode two had these cool lazer beams, http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20071004195640/starwars/images/3/3e/SPHAT-concentratedfire.jpg
and we could use it in dust, kinda like a lazer rifle for a tank. But the tank would have to be stationary.
Or a sort of mortar type cannon, used as an arc.

Those look like beam turrets, witch is like the laser rifle. expect this. There is also going a scrambler pistol-like one called the pulse laser. |

Some might not know this, but a couple builds ago, there were options in the market for LASER, ARTILLERY, AND AUTOCANNON turrets. However, the sections were empty. |

I'm sorry, but much like EVE Online, DUST will never have "lazers".
The reason for this is that CCP know how to spell "stimulated". |

Just make the lasers... normal lasers. They do the same amount of damage where ever you fire. we don't need another tank long rang weapon though. |

I think we need Gatling blaster turrets. Like the ones the clones carried in one of the animated star wars series. (not the newest one but the one that looked like an actual cartoon.) |
